One of these days, I need to start studying again. Like sure, high school is over and I don't have an obligation to study anymore but I want to but I can't because I wake up and get distracted and an hour and 50 episodes of a random show later, it's already 3 am.

had a dream that I met a wizard and we fell in love and became unhealthily attached to each other so we decided to meld into one single creature together but the process was horrifically slow and painful and most of the dream was us lying in bed holding hands while lesions opened up in our skin and seeped out blue and green fluid and the wizard said "this is going to take a very very long time" and I said "that's ok"

Don't allow anyone to make you feel stupid because you are trying to improve. There is nothing wrong with trying to read a book about self help. Trying a new bedtime routine. Learning how to build new habits is great. Learning how to do your makeup better. It's easy to feel stupid the first time you try to speak positively to yourself or doing some self care for the first time in forever, but actually, those things are a huge win. That's how change happens. You are on the right track. This is awesome, KEEP GOING.

ok wait i haven't forgotten about this tumblr i promise. i just did some problems from chapter 13 and rewarded myself with buying some CSM fan merch lmao

i just. i might have not wanted to do math for a while, and i still don't really want to review of things that i remember well but am not good at

i thought about the things that i actually don't remember too well and thought about concepts that i actually wanted to master, rather than aimlessly going thru the book chapter by chapter

i skipped to chapter 13, was kind of in over my head, and then went back to chapter 10. i may not have all the basics mastered to the point of having been etched into my soul, but i know them well enough that i'm too happy to skip ahead
