Bill Josh dynamic in Gen Z is super interesting to me…

Will be leaving some stuff out bc I don’t wanna spoil anything but in terms of the way they interact, I think Bill at first wouldn’t know much about Joshie and act kindly to her bc he’s unfortunately extremely pathetic and cannot view women as someone to be friends with, only as potential romantic partners.

Especially online, with Joshie’s way of speech I think Bill would find it kinda cute and be super adamant that Joshie is a girl. HOWEVER, when he discovers Joshie is trans, he definitely treats her in a much meaner way due to his own personal prejudice. His interactions towards her would turn a bit sour but he has to keep reminding himself that she is trans. He’d go out of his way to not refer to her by pronouns at all, avoiding that subject in front of her and crap talking her behind her back.

However, he also slips up and kinda does think of Joshie as a girl bc he doesn’t feel like she acts like a guy at all, but due to his own pride and personal opinions, he cannot let others know that he’s actually somewhat accepting her identity.

I think Bill would sorta understand Joshie in the way of how she keeps getting ragebaited and acting like a lolcow, bc he himself is deffo bullied and isolated irl. But I think he’d also act extremely rudely about her being inside all day, asking stuff like why doesn’t she get her life together (even as he himself barely has his life together)

Additionally, Bill would be the only one to actually respond to Joshie venting unprompted in their group chats. It would be Pete going like “lol that sucks”, Jerry fully ignoring it and Bill responding but rather than just listening, providing what he thinks would be the solution in a rather harsh way.

Bill would also be the only one who would handle when Joshie gets super upset about things, albeit not WELL. Jerry wouldn’t want to get involved and Pete would try to brush it off, but Bill would be the one to “listen” and provide solutions (but never good solutions)

Joshie and Bill would also deffo vent AT each other, I think maybe Bill would make an offhand comment about how his family sucks and then Joshie would go in comparing her pain saying stuff like “well it’s not as bad as ___” or saying “I totally get it, this also happened to me but worse”

Bill would be the one to understand Joshie the most, but that doesn’t mean that he treats her well.

I fear he would not but that’s mainly bc I don’t think Bill dreams… he might daydream about it though but as a guilty pleasure, because he says he wants a traditional/nuclear family.

However,,,, IN TERMS OF SLEEP… INCOMING SLEEP HEADCANONS:

Bill: he has really bad sleep, he doesn’t dream but he like hits the bed and doom scrolls on his phone before bed. He doesn’t rly enter REM sleep and tosses and turns in the night, he also doesn’t get ENOUGH sleep like ever. Sleeps on his side. This guy is sleep deprived and does not dream at all. Wears an old t-shirt and sweatpants/shorts to sleep depending on the temperature.

Pete: NEEDS to hug smth in his sleep, deffo has a big pillow that he refuses to call a body pillow on his bed. He probably had a really stained mattress cover bc he doesn’t bother to wash it as often as he should. He sleeps really heavily, and doesn’t get woken up easily. His mouth is always open when he sleeps, deffo drools and snores a bit. He moves a bit in the beginning of the night but is relatively still in deep sleep. Sleeps on his side. Wears only boxers to sleep…

Jerry: He sleeps super well, he has a fancy super cushioned and soft bed that he sleeps in. He sleeps on his back bc he saw a TikTok once that sleeping on your side is bad for your face and so now he refuses to sleep on his side. He sleeps in a robe... Quick to sleep but slow to wake, NOT A MORNING PERSON. Has a bunch of plushies on his bed too. Medium to light sleeper, doesn’t get woken up super easily but wakes up to loud noises.

Joshie: Super cozy, needs a weighted blanket to sleep. Sleeps both on her back and her side, she usually has her phone or computer in bed and falls asleep with her headphones still on, sometimes in discord VCs. She snores a little bit but not as much as Pete, and turns a little. Joshie dreams a lot, she has like a sleep journal and has wanted to purposefully lucid dream into the stuff she’s into. Has listened to those audios on YouTube to help lucid dream before. She deffo has plushies on her bed.

Beach headcanons cause it’s summer now and GZEltingville is always on my mind,,,

Bill is the type of person who has beach shorts and like the dress shirt on top with a lame hat, 3 layers of sunscreen, sitting on a towel under an umbrella nursing a book and a beer and still gets burnt + gets sand stuck everywhere. Bill doesn’t even lay down on the towel, he sits there like hugging his legs. Bill deffo gets hit by frisbee, his glasses fell off too and he had to dig for them in the sand and he was so angry he tried to throw it into the sea but then his throw was so weak it only went 3 feet in front of him. The kids saw him do that btw and pointed and laughed. Bill would refuse to get into the water but enjoy looking at tide pools.

Pete is the type who has the beach shorts only, no shirt… He doesn’t wear sunscreen at all but tans, he runs into the water and like loves having a tube to just float or whatever. Pete would surf, but Pete would like keep doing it and trying and failing. Like he wouldn’t get any lessons for it so it would just be like trial and error.

Jerry has got flip flops and beach shorts, and wear like the dress shirt on top for the style, sunglasses. He’s always got an alcoholic drink in hand in summer, and rents a jet ski. He has fancy beach/lounge chairs + his own umbrella but doesn’t let Bill sit on them. Jerry has gone surfing before but doesn’t rly love it bc it’s too much work, Jerry has deffo gotten actual lessons to surf so he knows how but he just isn’t into it.

Joshie doesn’t go to the beach bc she doesn’t wanna go out, I think the entire idea of the trip would stress her out and feel extremely overwhelming. However, she would be on video call and get message updates about what’s going on, like out of context Pete would send in the group chat “jerry is tryin to kill me bro” and Jerry replies with like some emoji. (Jerry probably has discord nitro)

I think the only reason they’re at a beach though is bc Jerry dragged them into it. Jerry asks the discord group “who wanna go to the beach” and then they respond and then Jerry sends plane tickets with the date already set, he didn’t even ask.

Pete would for sure wanna go, and he drags Bill to go with him, but Joshie would refuse. I think at the beach though Bill would call her in the discord VC with camera on to like show her what they’re up to and complain about the beach with Joshie.

Bill video calls Joshie while looking at tide pools though, and he would say fun facts about the diff organisms that he recognizes cause he’s still a nerd and Joshie would be the only one who would listen while Pete and Jerry are in the sea.

Pete tries all the different sea activities, like stand up paddle boarding and kayaking, Jerry tags along but doesn’t do any work, like Jerry sitting on the front while Pete is in the back paddling. Pete forces Bill to join him on the same stand up paddle board and Bill sits in the front like shaking and bc he keeps yelping when they shake they fall into the water and Bill thinks he’s gonna drown but he has a life jacket on. They didn’t even get that far into the water so it wasn’t even that deep.

Pete and Bill putting on sunscreen and Bill is watching Pete like “Dude you don’t use any sunscreen?” “Hell naw I don’t need that shit” and Bill is totally jealous bc he’s like fully lobster red by the end of the day while Pete is just tanned.

With Jerry driving around on the jet ski, Pete is on the back with the skis attached. Jerry is deffo tipsy while he’s driving around and swerves around like crazy, and Pete is fearing for his life but also having a ton of fun.

Jerry would force Pete to carry all the stuff off the car that he brought, like he’d bring a massive cooler and force Pete to carry it. Jerry also forced Bill to bring his own alcohol, ik that Jerry bought his own expensive alcohol but ONLY for himself, he doesn’t even let Bill put his cheap cans of beer inside the cooler that he forced Pete to carry. Bill would sneak it in eventually but he’d still have to drink like warm beer.
