Yeah I made those decisions before I'd settled on a lot about him and then went. Damn. The only two cities where Mahjarrat still hang out in public. And yeah Jax would definitely remember that and count it towards his Agonies.

He isn't! I've never decided exactly how he died but I've been leaning toward 'discovered and used in one of the rituals' as an option. Depends on how the timeline works out. But none of Jax's ancestors on that side are alive by the time of WW. For if anyone can tell - I think it's hard to figure out unless you're told what's up with him, and then they'd mostly recognize Azzanadra since they're probably a lot more familiar with him. But they'd make the connection about where he came from since Kymal kind of became the black sheep of that family. Some early pre-ww Mahjarrat like Wahi definitely know something's weird about him but can't really figure out what - and then after ww it's easy to brush off as part of the world guardian stuff.

Excellent question I haven't decided. Everything post totg gets murky in jaxverse but probably yeah she does. Jax would be annoyed but he's a bit 'i get it its not personal' because he has weird work/life balance. For times he's forced to work with them he's not a fan but it's an enemy of my enemy situation. He does choose to betray Zamorak at the end of Dishonour though. At that point in time he thinks the safest thing for the Stone is for it to be in Saradomin's hands but he's feeling weird enough about Sliske by then he can justify to himself leaving it with him is safer than Zamorak having it (which like. probably isn't untrue considering how everything eventually shook out). Every time he has to interact with that crew though it really fucks him up because Zamorak's actual code of ethics and loyalty is very much. Not what he's been taught it is. Guy who went to catholic school finding out the devil is a loving father.

Jax does not introspect but truthfully the most shocking part of it is he assumed Saradomin would hate him and in truth even with all the everything Saradomin is probably a lot kinder to him than he expected. unattached drifter behavior. he is wandering into town and making you fall in love with him and then leaving without saying goodbye. in his defense hes also telling you this up front but theres just something about Jax makes every guy convinced he's built different

genuinely loves archeology and history, but also is not above selling artifacts instead of putting them in a museum. i cannot tell you how disappointed he was to crack open that pyramid and find out it was just Azzanadra in there. he can't sell that. thats just some guy.

does NOT want to be the world guardian. does not want to help people. would rather chew his own arm off than experience responsibility.

5'10ish and around 30 during world wakes

born in varrock and his family moved to ardougne when his mom remarried when he was seven or so. haunted by mahjarrat his entire life this guy.

hes related to azzanadra lol. at some point i spun up an oc named Kymal to be azzanadras normal mahjarrat son who then remained a tumeken loyalist after most mahjarrat defected to zaros. after tumeken went nuclear he went into hiding to avoid the Zaros Inquisition and fell in love with a human woman which produced jax's half-mahjarrat grandfather. jax's dad died when he was very young so nobody really learns about this until at least desperate times. sliske vaguely knew about that line that branched off Kymal but got kind of bored of them and so doesn't realize jax is a result of that. neither azzanadra nor jax are pleased with this but auntie trindine thinks its really funny.

hes pretty even-keeled tbh. although the very rare times he does get truly angry are probably bad for everyone else. re: zamorakians depends on the time period truthfully! he used to be a temple knight so early on its a hard Fall By My Blade kind of reaction depending on the person but that's kind of a learned response. by the time of the elder god wars he's probably just like well you're fundamentally evil but there's literally more important things happening. he gets along well with moia after a certain point. abomination buddies.

he was raised as a saradominist! his stepfather especially was both very devout and a bit of a violent drunk so jax just kind of turned to the church as an escape. he was training in the seminary to become a priest when the temple knights recruited him! jagex should NOT add canonical homophobia to the video game runescape but i can have a little religious grief as a treat. so his own internalized/church sanctioned homophobia mixed with feeling like a weird freak due to the mahjarrat blood (and not knowing what was up with that) means his relationship with the church in general and Saradomin in specific is. shall we say complex (although i dont think Saradomin himself exactly agrees with those particular teachings). but reassessing his own faith now would require actual introspection about whats going in in that little head of his so its simply never going to happen. and truthfully i think zamorak himself would have vaguely positive reactions to another mahjarrat-lite, which further complicates the answer to number 4 lol.

if i can be completely honest though the strategy is working. they've started picking up very small amounts of goodwill from me and the bottom shelf offering of 'it comes with your membership!' feels like a crazy step up. historically my main complaint with jagex was they did not listen to the player base and basically called us all a bunch of whiny brats that needed to understand they 'had' to do whatever insane monetization scheme they were defending at the moment. even if they kept doing the exact same shit but kept this slightly less antagonistic tone i would consider it a win. the bar is underground.
