Thancred hummed as he walked into the bedroom suite, only slightly surprised to see his husband in the bed of a Vow. Another miqo’te joined them, the total reaching three. It was always amusing to him how the men were always drawn to each other, be it social structure like Seekers or scarcity like Keepers. He realized at that moment, he didn’t know much of how Hhetsarro culture operated. He would definitely have to ask the Vow to indulge his curiosity — another time, of course.

Because his husband was the first to notice his presence. Thancred could be in a full stealth cloak and he couldn’t hide from him. Their aether was too entwined over the years, like strings being tugged ever so gently. As Fox reached out, Thancred could feel those strings tighten in his chest.

‘My love,’ Thancred could hear his husband’s voice rattle around in his head as he got lost in the strong gaze, ‘trust us.’
