I think if Enki was put in the *Spontaneous Ignition* situation (a xydo fic about the Old Knight witnessing Nosramus cast a very potent Pyromancy Trick on a Night Lurch and being traumatized from the violence of such a painful death), the priest would use the fire from the burned up creature to smoke a pipe, and that would make Nosramus so much worse. Like for real, the Knight's clear and stricktly Lawful Good mentality must've had an effect on that alchemist. If Enki was there for them instead of the virtupus man, however? Oh, Nosramus would get out of the relationship much more twisted. Perhaps more prone to the passively corrupting effect of the God of the Depths, even.

until now i never opened that chest that nosramus asked me not to because it hurts when a character i like is mad at me. today i tried it & the way they didn't even grace me with a scolding or an outburst or even a word—just a silent glare—got me bricked up. never be afraid to try something new. #freakandhunger

Enki and Nosramus are the kind of people to show up to a party with a child (or several children) and be like "hey guys! look at this thing we made!" and its never explained how they got a child or who got pregnant or if they just found it somewhere, all that's known is that they have a kid now.
