News: Shingeki no Kyojin Tankobon Volume 27 + 365-Day Calendar (Limited Edition Bonus)

In Bessatsu Shonen’s November 2018 issue, Kodansha announced that the Limited Edition of tankobon volume 27 (Containing chapters 107-110) will come with a 365-day calendar featuring Isayama’s artwork throughout!

Happiest 33rd Birthday to my dearest Kaji-kyun!!

Yesterday at September 3, my beloved Kaji-kyun turned 33. 

I love his voice so much. But not only that. I love his voice acting, his performance, his dedication as seiyuu, also his personality. To me his handsome and cute face is a plus and I’m thankful for that. It makes him even more loving to me. I fell for him first as Eren. He is doing awesome as Eren even until now. Then I began searching for more anime with his voice, drama cds, and seiyuu events. Then yes, I love him even more. He is now my most favorite seiyuu of all time. He is amazing!!!

Sorry I’m a day late but... Tanjoubi omedetou dear Yuuki Kaji-san aka Kaji-kyun!!! Happy 33rd birthday!!! Thank you for all your hard work. Thank you for all the smile you always give for us. Thank you for everything. I hope all of your dreams in this year or ahead will soon come to you. I hope you can keep up your career and become the most successful person you ever want to be. I hope you can always love yourself and what you are doing. That’s why at last I wish you for all time happiness and healthiness so we can see you even more, hehe <3 :)

Butterfly - Backstroke - Breaststroke - Freestyle. Ikuya was in lane 5 and obviously finished the first and way faster than the others.

Not only he is handsome, cute, and cool, no doubt Ikuya is an amazing swimmer. Really, his IM is awesome. I never get bored seeing it. Yoshh! Just a few more hours until his IM again 😍

Fujitani Youichi-kun. You're Hawt 🔥

Burn baby burn! This boy is Youichi-kun from Dive!! series. Eventho he's not a really popular character, I like him. He's a tensai and also a very hard working diver. Ikemen? Of course.

There he was in the middle of Olympic trials, and you can see how hot he was right?! But what I'm talking about is hot as for sexy and literal hot. So yeah. He's competing in a very bad condition. Wanna know why?! Because he overworked himself, practicing in the middle of the night, right less than a night before the competition. And why he did that?! Because he felt guilty over some matters to his father so he thought he should give his best and work harder and harder. Ttaku!

Short story, those pics I captured when his body's burning, 38.5 celcius degree. He fainted once after the third dive, but he finished beautifully all of the 6 rounds. Crazily amazing right?! Despite his bad condition and barely stand on his own feet, the ending dive was near perfect. Not to mention it's the most difficult dive with all the technique needed.

That super cute and precious smile of Ikuya!!! 😍 I'm so excited we're about to see him smiling again after all that had happened. Thanks to Hiyori.. From the look of it (the room, Ikuya and Hiyori's clothes), I guess it's probably when he was in the hospital, talking with Hiyori who always came visiting him everyday after school to keep him company. How sweet is that?! I can't wait to see all of their backstory!!! 💙

I'm glad. Something like this is bugging me too but it's just a pain to put to words. Thank you for explaining 😊 I'm with you. I always enjoy all drama in Free!. And yeah, I really have no idea what will make Ikuya happy, and looking forward to it. People need to be patient about Hiyori. What he did was realistic, yet rude. Rin used to be my best but now I've shifted to Ikuya. I can't read him, his conflict is complex (it involves a lot of people, not only Haru, and the matter is concerning something more critical), he is amazing (his hardwork, incredible konme/IM), and very well animated 😍 So exciting, I love it. I'm currently reading the High Speed novel to get some more charaterization of him, and his relationship with Haru especially. It shows that they both share unique connection even since the beginning. Anyway I'm eager to see how Haru-tachi, Hiyori and Natsu-nii, maybe Rin too, resolve Ikuya's conflict in this season.

I honestly can’t sleep thinking about this:

I read a post about someone asking Rin to fix the problem between Ikuya and Haru because Makoto apparently is “too weak and passive” to stand for Haru and shutting Hiyori’s mouth.

Makoto is, yeah, non-conflictive and PASSIVE AF. He is kind and tries to give everyone a chance BUT THERE’S A REASON BEHIND THOSE ACTIONS.

People fogets how real Hiyori’s words are and the reason they hurt so badly.

Hiyori IS FUCKING RIGHT.

Haru almost ruined Rin’s dream. Asahi almost loses the hability to swim freestyle because of Haru. Now Ikuya is losing it again only because he saw Haru and remembered how talented he was and the promised they made.

None of what Hiyori said is false and Hiyori didn’t BLAME Haru for that as well, he just pointed a reality. “Bad things happen to people who swim with Haru”.

Haru can’t control how good he is at swimming because is just who he is. The problem with that is the impact it has in other people. People who want to be the best.

IS NATURAL. We all have felt that when we heard about some genius kid who is perfect at something and had no effort or experience on that field.

Artist see other people’s work an feel depressed when the artists are younger than them. I have friends who study music and art and they practiced since they were born but then they see a drawing from a 10 year old Canadian who was already talented at the age of 8 and my friends loose it. Some of them can’t draw for weeks because they feel like they would never be good enough.

BLAMING IKUYA AND RIN FOR THEIR REACTIONS IS DENYING SOMETHING WE ALL HAVE FELT. HEY, THEY ARE HUMAN.

Makoto, Rei and Nagisa might be the exception because they are NOT competitive and only see swimming as a connection of their friendship but their dreams DO NOT depend on Harukas talent since they DON’T wanna be the best.

NOW BACK TO MAKOTO.

Makoto is the only character who is FULLY aware of Haruka’s talent and also understands how important it is for Haru to be in the water.

He tries with everything he has to protect NOT THE TALENTED BOY WHO SWIMS PERFECTLY but the very insecure boy inside Haru who CAN’T ENJOY SWIMMING BECAUSE HE MAKES OTHER PEOPLE FEEL BAD ABOUT IT.

Makoto is Haru’s stability. Makoto is the one person who doesn’t look at him for his swimming talent but for who he really is.

The same way Hiyori is the only person who sees Ikuya as special and unique. Which is why he is Ikuya’s best friend.

So Makoto can’t just JUMP to Hiyori’s throat because he, more than anyone, understands this. That’s why he worries. He worries over Haru because he KNOWS it HURTS HIM. BUT WHAT CAN HE DO?!

Makoto can’t stand up to Hiyori and say “Well, Haru doesn’t mean it” or “What you say is not true” or “People should just mind their own buissness” because it makes NO FUCKING SENSE. THAT’S NOT WHAT HIYORI IS WORRIED ABOUT.

IF FUCKING RIN ARRIVES AND TRIES TO EXPLAIN HOW HARU WASN’T THE PERSON WHO GOT HIM DEPRESSED IT MEANS NOTHING TO HIYORI.

IKUYA IS NOT RIN. He doesn’t want to be the best. Ikuya already is the MOTHER FUCKING BEST.

Ikuya wants what Haru has.

IKUYA WANTS TO BE SPECIAL SO BAD. Wants and ACHES TO BE DIFFERENT. But he will never BE like Haru.

He is special now but that cost him EVERYTHING. UNLIKE HARU who has friends, who didn’t needed special training, who is just a boy who is THAT GOOD.

The training he had made him lose his friends. He even questions himself when he reads the little mermaid.

What did I gain? And what did I lose? Was it worth it?

He has just one friend and maybe is because he never tried to relat to others because he just wanted to be a prodigy swimmer.

It will never be natural and innate for him. It costed him WORK. But he will never trutly be happy like Haru is now.

Until idk… Idk what would make Ikuya Happy. That’s what we will find out later.

PEOPLE are honestly missing the point of FREE! COMPLETLY.

News: SnK Chain Puzzle Fever - First Anniversary Special

The official SnK Chain Puzzle Fever mobile game has released special chimi chara avatars for the game’s first anniversary! Formal outfits for Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Hanji, Levi, and Erwin will be available to collect in-game starting on August 3rd.

Yeass well said. I cannot hate him too. Also because I love Ryohei-san's voice so much and he's perfect as Hiyori. Hahaha 😈

Affection shown by Hiyori to Ikuya is amazing. He does everything in his power to protect Ikuya and - guess what - Ikuya is okay with it! He calls him in the morning, he brings him food in the evening, and his voice when Ikuya sank again… OMG. (I just hope that Hiyori doesn’t have a tragic backstory, like some dead younger brother or sth). He is confident, because he must be the responsible one. (Also - Ikuya going back to the childhood fairytale is like a person running from his present problems to some made up worlds, to forget about them, so Hiyori must be looking over him)

I just cannot hate him.

Some people are talking like “there is no need for Free ss3″ or “It’s better to end with 2 seasons”. But for me, Free won’t be completed if they never tell us the story of Ikuya and Asahi.

=> Free! world in 2013, there were only Haru, Makoto, Rin, Nagisa, Rei, Sousuke,… Sousuke was in novel, but not anime, that’s why we need Sousuke to appear => Free! ss2

=> Free! world in 2014 continued with Haru, Makoto, Rin, Nagisa, Rei, Sousuke,… AND Ikuya, Asahi, Kisumi,… On the same day, Free! world widened with Ikuya, Asahi, Kisumi,.. but in anime, the story only went with characters of ss1 plus Sousuke and Samezuka swim club => So where were Ikuya and Asahi. Please remember that after Haru quitted swim club, we don’t have any information of Ikuya and Asahi because anime never mentioned them (at the time of 2014) =>>> Ikuya? Asahi? They need to appear somewhere.

6. High Speed! - Free! Starting Days (December 5, 2015)

=> Free! world in 2015 again confirmed the existence of Ikuya and Asahi!!

You tell me we don’t need Free! ss3? I’m fine with not having ss3 as long as there is other official work to confirm Ikuya and Asahi life after High Speed volumn 2 such as manga, movie, another novel… But NO! There is non of those was released…

Thanks god the series finally goes on again!!!
