🌱My Routines for April 🌱
‼️💙NOT PRO ANA. THESE WILL NOT WORK FOR EVERYBODY. I DO NOT PROMOTE EATING DISORDERS. I KNOW THIS IS DANGEROUS. PLEASE MESSAGE ME FOR ADVICE ABOUT RECOVERY IF YOU EVER NEED IT. POSTING THIS BECAUSE SOMEBODY ASKED ME AND THIS BLOG IS LIKE MY DIARY. I LOVE YOU ALL. STAY SAFE💙‼️
E X E R C I S E :
🧘🏼‍♀️MINIMUM 10,000 steps a day, sometimes I go over and can do about 14,000+ steps a day but 10,000 is the daily healthy recomendation, I keep track of my steps with myfitnesspal daily. This sounds hard to fit into one day but i pace whenever i can, even just up and down my room if i didnt walk enough during the day, i always take the longer route, and take the stairs when possible and before you know it i’ve hit 10,000.
🧘🏼‍♀️before bed every night I do 100 sit ups, 20 squats, 30 lunges (15 each leg), 40 calf raises, 50 second wall-sit, 100 jumping jacks, 50 second wall-sit, 40 sumo squats, 30 leg raises (15 each leg) 20 squats and then i occasionally do 1-minute planks or some yoga to stretch out after.
🧘🏼‍♀️fidgeting, leg tapping etc can burn an extra 250 calories or so a day. I have ADHD so I would fidget anyway but yeah. That’s an extra lil thing.
🧘🏼‍♀️chewing sugar free gum, chewing gum for 1 hour can burn about 11 calories, i will sometimes chew about 6 hours a day so thats an extra 66 calories
L I Q U I D S :
☕️ I drink 3-4 litres of ice water a day sometimes with lemon. Ice water burns more calories because your body uses energy to try and warm it up to match your body temperature.
☕️ I drink black coffee in the morning, an 8 ounce cup has only 2 calories and 0 grams of fat, depending on how organic the coffee bean you’re using, it can contain small amounts of calcium which is good because undernourishment can lead to brittle bones and calcium is good for keeping bones stronger. It can also improve your energy levels and boost your metabolism to burn fat.
☕️ Some teas that i drink are
- Green tea: boosts metabolism
- Peppermint tea: soothes hunger pains
- Earl Grey tea: energy booster, good for your teeth, boosts immune system, eases stress, boosts metabolism
- Ginger and lemon tea: improves blood circulation, high in vitamin c
- Lavender and mint tea: relieves stress, improves your skin, good for your heart, helps me sleep
There are a bunch of other proven benefits to all of these teas, feel free to google them i just don’t want this post to be an essay.
☕️ Sugar free/diet energy drinks. I only drink these if I lack energy, they can range between 9-17 calories for a 500ml can, I dont really like diet soft drinks like Pepsi and coke etc. so these are better and the bubbles make me feel full.
D I E T :
🍒if I know I have to eat that day I will have a small breakfast to get my metabolism kicking. This is usually a fat free Greek yoghurt with fruit (around 100cals) or 1-2 rice cakes (21-42 cals)
🍒the only time I dont have breakfast is if I plan on fasting all day, I fast about 1-2 days a week allowing myself herbal teas and black coffee without sweetener or milk unless I’m having trouble sleeping because warm milk can help you feel tired so ill usually have a lavender and mint tea with organic honey or low cal sweetener and milk to make me tired.
🍒I never go over 500 calories a day, but usually stick to around 200-300, i try to keep these calories rather healthy with fruits and veggies etc. but sometimes I’ll have crackers and hummus or tzatziki or something.
M O T I V A T I O N :
🌟I look at sweetspo, meanspo and thinspo as often as I can, (also feel free to sweetspo/meanspo me anonomoysly or not, i’d actually really appreciate it.
🌟I keep thinspo as my wallpaper.
🌟every kilo I lose I allow myself to purchase one thing off of eBay or Wish, either for my room to make it all cozy and cute (especially because skinny gals get cold and my room gets freezing and winter is approaching where I live) or something to wear that I can be confident to wear when im small, like shorts or jewellery for my navel piercing etc.
🌟body checks; i would upload the photos but I am TERRIFIED of people figuring out this is my tumblr and forcing me into recovery. I have very distinct aspects of my body (scars/stick and poke tattoos etc) and I know i can always edit them out or whatever, but I can only really take pictures in my room/the bathroom and I’m paranoid people will recognise it. Idk why its hella unlikely but yeah. I just take photos for myself to reflect on really.
🌟I have a tiny little pocket journal I made, and I put a lot of random notes in there, thoughts, kinda like a diary, kinda like a bullet journal but not as organised or strict and its tiny. Once a week i write my weight and measurements or print out mini thinspo collages to stick into the journal so i see it whenever i flick through to find a new page or refer back to an old one.
O T H E R T H I N G S I D O :
💀 I am currently on prescription medication for ADHD, I do seriously need it to focus- I would be taking it whether it caused weight gain or weight loss because otherwise I’d literally never get anything done- in fact I didn’t even know this was a side effect until i googled it, the medication suppresses hunger and boosts my metabolism, i am strongly against abusing prescription medication and i literally only take the dosage i was prescribed- because this medication has addictive qualities, I WILL NOT disclose what medication i am on or what dosage or anything like that. I am only writing this because I’ve had people message or send me asks about how I’ve lost weight and i want to be honest, there’s no use in lying to a psychiatrist about having ADHD or other mental barriers just to get meds anyway as there are so many different kinds and they all do different things and they will put you on one that they think works for you not ones you want to take because you heard they make you lose weight etc. to avoid abuse of the system.
💀i tried making DIY diet pills, they’re all natural and seem to be working! In a mortar and pestle i grind up 1tbsp of ground cinnamon, 1tbsp ground ginger, 1tbsp cayenne pepper, 1tbsp of tumeric, 1tbsp coffee grounds, 1 contents of a teabag of green tea, grind that all up until its all combined, transfer into a bowl and add 75ml of water and mix with a spoon until you get a pasty dough. Then preheat the oven to 95 degrees celsius (200 degrees Fahrenheit) and line a baking sheet with baking paper, and roll them into tablets, this batch i get exactly 50 pills. Then i put them in the oven for two hours and once they’re cooled they’re good to go.
💀i smoke. I know. It’s not healthy and its bad for you. if you dont smoke already, dont start. Please. It’s so not worth it. Again I’m just being honest, and for me it suppresses my hunger and burns around 10 calories for each stick. But sometimes i literally feel sick and like I’m going to pass out if i smoke on an empty stomach so i dont on days i fast.
💀if i feel myself getting hungry and I’m either fasting or hit my calorie limit for the day, i distract myself. Whether this be by doing something gross like cleaning my cats litter box as it ruins my appetite, or do some art or other things that i enjoy so I hyper-focus on it and my mind literally cant think of anything else but the project I’m working on. Or i take a bath or have a nap.

Eating Disorders are so weird
Everyone tells you “take care of yourself” and “make sure you’re taking care of your mental health”
But starving myself is a form of taking care of myself. If I eat badly, I am sad all day and can’t do anything with focus.
If I starve, or if I dropped weight, I will be the happiest you’ve ever seen me.
So what truly is more important? Physical or mental health?

~ Imagine ~
You’re dressing yourself to go to the pool with your friends. Last year, you wore swimming shorts and an old shirt, never actually getting into the water. Even when your friend did splash you with water, you promptly dried it off as fast as you could so the shirt didn’t stick to your body.
But it won’t be like that this year.
Over the past year, you worked as hard as you could. You got off your bed and ran, you stopped stuffing your face, and fasted your way into your new body. As you slipped on one of your reward items, an honest-to-god bikini, you realized just how right it all looked on you.
Small body, slim face, exposed collarbones, narrow shoulders, bony arms, dainty hands, tiny waist, popping hipbones, obvious thigh gap, sloping calves, and an overall look of fragileness give you the aura of beauty that you’ve aimed for this whole year.
You slip on your swimsuit with glee, hurrying behind your friends as they finish up. One gives a small gasp as she looked your new body up and down, causing the others to look too. They give a collective squeal and asked how you did it. But, before you could answer, a string of laughter and compliments flew out. You laugh with them in bubbly excitement.
This year, you go into the pool. This year, you splash in the water with your friends. This year, you showed off your body. This year, you earned it. You reached your ultimate goal weight and did it.
You did it.

That feeling when…
You’re at the gym, and you’re going at your max potential.
You burn 100 calories, then 200, then 300.
You might feel like you’re dying, but it gets easier. If you want to stop this time do it.
But strive to go higher the next time you go.
300. 325. 350. 400.
500.
Remember how it feels when you burn off everything you have eaten today, and keep going until you physically can’t anymore.
The harder you work, the quicker results show.
The more calories you burn, the more weight you see drop from your body the next morning you step on that scale.
When you BINGE, you get anxiety to weigh in right?
Well, when you burn off more than you ate, you get excited to weigh in. You KNOW you’re going to lose at least a pound. Maybe even two.
Did you work hard enough for that?
Remember that feeling. It feels better to be on track and work out than to sit at home abd eat all the time while you lay in your bed all day.
YOU are in control.
You WILL be thin.
You just have to keep hold of that willpower.
2018 will be the year of THIN.
