Lost in Translation
Once upon a time in a bustling city, there lived a young woman named Maya. She had recently moved from her small hometown to pursue her dreams of becoming a writer. Determined to immerse herself in the vibrant culture of the city, she frequented a local café, hoping to meet interesting people who would inspire her stories.
"I don't understand," said Maria, frustration evident in her voice.
"What do you mean? It's simple," replied her friend, Jenna.
"I know the words, but I don't understand the meaning behind them," said Maria.
Jenna sighed. "It's just an idiom. It means that we should be careful not to count our chickens before they hatch."
"But why chickens? Why hatch?" asked Maria, still puzzled.
"I don't know. It's just a saying," said Jenna with a shrug.
Maria shook her head. "It's so confusing. I feel like I'm always lost in translation."
Jenna smiled sympathetically. "I know it's tough, but you'll get the hang of it. English is a tricky language."
As they walked down the street, Maria couldn't help but feel frustrated. She had been learning English for years, but it seemed like there were always new expressions and sayings to learn.
Just then, they passed by a street musician playing a guitar. Maria stopped to listen, and as she watched his fingers move across the strings, she had an epiphany.
"It's like music," she said. "I may not understand every word or phrase, but I can still appreciate the beauty of the language."

Brash, cocky, and unbeatable with a sword (well, almost), Sam of Haywood is the most promising Paladin trainee in the kingdom of Thule… and knows it. The only problem is that Sam is really Lady Samantha, daughter of the seventeenth Duke of Haywood, and if her father has his way, she’ll be marrying a Paladin, not becoming one.
But Sam has never held much interest in playing damsel-in-distress, and so she rescues herself from a lifetime of boredom and matrimonial drudgery. Disguised as a boy, Sam leaves home behind to fight demons the most dangerous monsters in Thule alongside the kingdom’s elite warriors. Pity that Tristan Lyons, the Paladin assigned to train her, is none other than the hero of her childhood. He hasn’t recognized her–yet–but if he does, he’ll take away her sword and send her packing.Sam is not the only trainee hiding secrets: Braeden is a half-demon with a dark past that might be unforgivable. Whether he can be trusted is anyone’s guess, including his.
As demons wreak havoc across the land, rebellion stirs in the West, led by a rival faction of warriors

After crossing paths with the cold and mysterious Loki and being coerced to join th QED club, her high school life has never been the same. Join the partners in crime as they unravel the threads of mysteries, unmask evil intentions and put together the pieces of the puzzle in their adventures.Welcome to the world of Mysteries, Murders, and Mayhems! It is a story of young students who have the guts to solve mysteries and crimes like Detective Conan and Sherlock Holmes. In this story of young students who have the guts to solve mysteries and crime like detective Conan and Sherlock Holmes.Their main quest is to find who Moriarty/ Mori/ Moriya. The incidents that they are encountering are connected to the main quest of the story adds spice to it
has an interesting plot and settings are scenes solely happen inside the school. My heart goes to Lorelie knowing that Loki can't move on to what happened to his friend,Rhea.towards the end another person has become a member of a club and that's Jamie Santiago the girl who was pretended memory and yes moriarty identity has been revealed but is he the real one This story seems Sherlock Holmes inspired because of the names used especially with the main antagonist. It is written in Taglish but you will see how formal the story is thru its deep English terminologies. Because of its choice of words, it looks like I'm reading a book because of well-chosen words and idioms. It contains different cases that they need to solve but those cases are still connected with the main case. It was fun as a reader to solve cases with the characters. I think that is one of the reasons why I enjoy reading it.
There were a lot of names involved but you will never get a hard time getting familiar with them. The pictures of each character helped me visualize their looks based on the character's view and description. There are parts where I got bored maybe because of too much conversation and not spilling the tea

the things that have happened to me in the past months and years are happy somehow, even though there are many activities at school, I can handle them and my weakness after 2 years is when our grandfather died and my other weakness is when we and our family don't get along, especially sometimes when there is a problem that we don't know how to overcome, but even though we went through that before and now, we fight together against any temptation that comes into our lives and whenever there is trials that will come in our lives, we continue to pray to God to guide us through the trials that we will face, especially me because I am one of the Grade 11 students, so I must improve my studies because if I do not improve, it will only I threw money that my parents worked hard for, especially since we were poor . I realized that my weaknesses didn't exist for nothing but it exist for me to grow and mature. These strengths and weaknesses help me face the new normal because they helped me grow and mature as time passes by. My weaknesses help me deal with the problems or situations i am facing.
Part 3: Tanaga
Through I'd hang around today.Come what will and come what may.Take it easy, breath a bit.Toxic stress, time to emit

My Autobiography
My name is John Lloyd S.Ordoñez,I was born on May 29,2006. And lives in Bonifacio Street dist 4 Cuyapo Nueva Ecija. And my parents name is Gina Soliven and Rodelio Ordoñez, my parents' jobs were, my father was truck driver and my mother was sewer
I started attending school as kinder I when I was four years old. I remember, sometimes in the classroom my classmate and I were fighting, he pinched me which caused me to cry loudly even though we always fought we still made up and that's when I discovered my friend
When I was six years old, I started my elementary school. In my first grade, I always cried when my male classmates fought with me. I also experienced being beaten by the teacher for playing with rubber. I used to be very angry with my teacher. In this grade I also started to ask about the crush, what it really is. I can also say that in my elementary school I made many friends and I found out that a crush is an admiration you have for a woman, which you see in her and that's why I'm so happy because I finished my elementary school.
And when I graduated from elementary school, I enrolled in a private high school, and it was not that easy to study in a private school because there were many trials that came to me while studying in high school, but I am very thankful for and I was able to handle it Also, I also thought that going to high school was free, not because of the amount we paid in tuition fees, but no matter how hard our lives were, my parents worked tirelessly just for us and for us to graduate from education so if I improve my education so that I can achieve my dream and to repay the sacrifices of my parents in raising us properly.
Growing up with split parents was not especially difficult since each of my parents kept me out of their divorce and they got along fine at events where both of them were present. I lived with my mom until I was 16 and in high school. By my sophomore year in high school I hadbegun to hang around with friends that got me into a lot of trouble with a number of things including smoking pot and drinking. I was rapidly heading down a negativepath, butwasfortunate enough to notice it before I had done any serious damage. I moved in with my dad and changed high schools and friends.
Many say that the happiest day that happened in our life was the day we were born, so we should appreciate and enrich the life that God has given us. Valuing our experience is a basis for how we value what happened in our lives.

Veterinarian, a round character Objective Character may be defined as the unique set of traits and features that form the nature of a fictional person. Characters that the reader will remember start with a basis of reality. The writer takes a trait, the mannerisms or perhaps the appearance of someone he has known and adds to and embellishes it, drawing from his imagination. Sometimes a character is a composite. Often a character reflects the writer's own background or fantasies. The character's motivation, the "why" of his behavior is revealed through his dialogue and actions. He is the sum of everything that has happened to him in his fictional life: a character with flesh and blood and genuine emotions who brings the validity of truth to a work of fiction.A round character is a fictional person so specifically portrayed and described as to be recognizable and individually different from any other character in a novel, play or film. The protagonist and other main participants of a work are usually round characters: Their development is complex and tends to focus on their inner person motivations, human traits, flaws, conflicts, distinctive qualities

The lesson that I learned is It's a literary device whose purpose is to let viewers know something is going to happen without giving away too many details. Foreshadowing is used to create a suspenseful atmosphere, thus keeping readers engaged, and also to validate future plot points, keeping them grounded in the story world Foreshadowing increases a story's sense of foreboding, tension, or suspense, as readers might not know what exactly is going to happen, but they know it's going to be bad. Foreshadowing increases a story's sense of anticipation, as readers want to know what will happen Foreshadowing is a literary device used to give an indication or hint of what is to come later in the story. Foreshadowing is useful for creating suspense, a feeling of unease, a sense of curiosity, or a mark that things may not be as they seem
