The Secretary Bird (Sagittarius Serpentarius meaning ‘the archer of snakes’) is a bird of prey native to Africa found south of the Sahara Desert that are known for their famous snake-hunting abilities of chasing prey down and striking with their beak/or stomping them out. It is also the national symbol of Sudan. I drew it stomping out a cyborg snake to convey the snakes of the electric-industrial colonial system that plagues Africa today. Africa has the right to defend itself from the clutches of AI, ecocide, and technocapitalistic greed.

Support Barnebe's fight against kidney failure

Barnabé is a young Congolese student from Goma who has been combating kidney failure for 3 years. He has been bed bound due to his health complications and has had to miss attending school and going out with his friends. He lost his mother, the only family he had left, in 2023 and has been fighting his battle alone ever since.

There is hope for Barnabé to recover if he is able to get a kidney transplant, but the procedure is costly and far beyond what he can afford on his own. Team members of Agissons Ensemble have set up a gfm campaign to help raise funds for his treatment. Please share and donate if you can.
