These were saved as psb files and would not open or download on my laptop (I had saved them to onedrive in class) so I have just taken screenshots of the images from onedrive. The files on onedrive remain psb.

Retouching
I used photoshop to retouch this image. I used the healing brush tool to remove all the model’s blemishes and then smoothed her skin also. I did also darken the image a little (just a personal preference to make it more natural looking). I followed the tutorial on Moodle to achieve this final image. For some reason a tiff file would not upload on here so I have attached jpegs. My final submission is a tiff file however.

Digital Cyanotype
1. I picked an image of a fern.
2. I changed it to black and white and slightly adjusted the opacity.
3. I inverted the image.
4. I picked a blue block colour for the background.
5. I adjusted the layers and opacity until I was happy with the image.
6. I saved the image.
7. I then took the original image and inverted it and made sure the background was white.
8. I adjusted the opacity until I was happy with the image.
9. I applied a border to the image.
10. I used Canva to put my final 2 images side by side and make a final canvas.

Colour Management Task Part 2
On the Canon 2000D, if you want to set the colour space to adobe RGB, there is a colour space option where you can set it to this. However this is not displayed on the LCD camera screen.
On Photoshop, to set the colour space to adobe RGB, go to edit and select assignment profile and tick profile. Then go to edit and choose colour settings. You can then choose the desired colour profile.
Note: I normally use Lightroom and this is different as it uses pro photo RGB, so the settings are slightly different.

Colour Management Task part 1
Answers to questions from the post production section.
1. A gamut is a complete subset of colours.
2. A color space is a specific organization of colors. In combination with color profiling supported by various physical devices, it supports reproducible representations of color -- whether such representation entails an analog or a digital representation.
3. Most DSLR cameras offer sRGB and adobe RGB.
4. Most computer monitors display adobe RGB.
5. When you switch from sRGB to adobe RGB, the reds and blues are brighter. When you change the colour space in photoshop, it changes hue and saturation.
6. A larger colour space than adobe RGB is pro photo RGB.
7. If you map digital images to a large colour space, the final image can become overexposed and too saturated.

Look at my super dinky photobook! (My small hand behind the photobook for reference and also I'm trying to block the husband from making an unscheduled appearance in the background). 😂
This mini photobook cost me £8.50 from Jessops and took 9 days to come.

Completed spark.
I have merged my 2 sparks into 1 big spark. I am slowly getting there! It may look like a mess but I have a structured plan in my head that makes sense lol.

Final showreel. I ended up following a story board I wrote which was about 50% different to what I originally planned. I am weirdly emotional now I've done this! (This was made on Canva, the music was free on Canva too).

I'm having a trawl through some music to find what I feel is the right music for my showreel. For my practice showreel where I used tiny worlds, I used Kelly Clarkson "What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger", as it was a fitting song to my story. However for this portfolio showreel, I would like music without lyrics- something quite soft and gentle sounding, almost dreamy, as I feel this is what would be most effective in terms of what would support my images.
