Never did I think I would be standing here looking at myself in the mirror and think “today is a good day.” I can not even remember when it all started to fall into place. Was it when I looked at myself and realized I had always been beautiful? Or did I save myself the night I laid in bed thinking about all the reasons why leaving would hurt me and keep me from my sanity? Keeping myself with my thoughts taught me how to learn all of my flaws better even though it took so much time to learn these flaws were not a bad thing.
