Women don’t matter to men. 

Their bodies matter- they hold babies and provide men a great way to get off. Their faces matter- they look pretty due to generations of abuse and degradation that’s led them to always need to look perfect, so that works fine for the guys who judge them based off it. Their tits matter- they’re a place for men to stick their face in or make lewd comments about. Their clothes matter- what were they wearing when they were raped, did they have it coming? Their jobs matter- or, more accurately, whether they’re taking that position away from a man, or whether they’re even worthy of it in the first place, because they probably had to sleep with the boss for it, right? 

But a woman’s dreams don’t matter. A woman’s passions don’t matter. Her rights, her humanity, it’s not important. First and foremost, she’s an object. There to be sexualised, seen and not heard, dehumanised to the point where her body isn’t her own and it instead belongs to the state. Women’s breasts aren’t allowed to be shown on TV unless it’s after watershed hours, because they’re not just another part of our chests that we use to feed our children, they’re sex objects, duh. Women’s lives and rights are a political debate amongst the powerful men in government who will never have any idea what it is like to be one of us. They don’t care about us. They care about how much more they can take from us, and how they can do it so they don’t face retribution. It’s all about the angles, see; spin it as a ploy to ‘save the unborn child’, or ‘offer the opportunity to the candidate most deserving of it’, and you won’t be able to argue with them stripping away right to abortion, or having an male-dominated work force that pays a woman half as much. Because it’s just about close enough to reasonable for them to get away with it. Then they go home to their wives, kiss them on the cheek, and act like they’ve done the world a service while their spouse says she’s going to bed early, because she can’t bear to hear them talk of her livelihood in such a cruelly clinical manner. The husband doesn’t mind. Females, right? So emotional. But she’ll get over it– and even if she doesn’t, she’ll still be there when he goes to bed tonight.

After all, women don’t matter to men. We’re nothing but bones covered in pretty flesh.

please help im about to run out of money

lol i already made a post like this on my old blog but i decided to do a new one bc im in a really tough spot rn and a lot of things have changed in the past few months

im elian, a 17 year old mentally ill neurodivergent art student. im on summer vacation right now and due to my depression, generalized anxiety disorder and trauma im unable to work during the summer. my only source of income this far has been my country’s social insurance institution, and the amount of money i receive every month has been lowered from 500€ to only about 150€. this is bc i apparently forgot to send proof of me not having unemployment or sickness benefits with my income support application (i was suprisingly never informed about this, i have never had to do this before) and if i dont fix this before thursday the 13th i wont get literally anything this month, and the next time i might get more money is around the end of next month. im abt to run out of money again, i live alone and my parents cant afford to help me financially so heres my paypal if you want to send me money (ignore my deadname, if youre finnish bank transfer is also an option). literally any amount is appreciated, i need money for food, clothes, rent and train tickets (for meeting my friends and significant other/attending pride etc), if you cant donate please reblog!!! thank you in advance

The most hilarious thing about the fact Buckbeak had a trial and lost is that later on JKR resolves the issue by having Hagrid take him in again and renaming him Witherwings. That’s literally all it took. What if in POA, Hagrid simply said, “Sorry, Buckbeak flew away.”
