Verdin heads off for her first expedition, the aircraft proves fairly inefficient at lower altitudes, for her return journey she flies up to 19,000 meters and finds the engines work a lot better there. they return home!

The Mun Science outpost, Staffed by

The Munar outpost is not as well staffed or well equipped as the minmus station, everything on the Mun outpost is designed to be rugged, wile the minmus rover is designed to carry lots of scientific equipment and to dock with the base, but outright speed was never considered, the mun rover is the opposite, it carries only a basic science package, but it can travel at over 100 km/h over rugged terrain.
the crew currently assigned is well known for their antics.

The Minmus Sc.O is a high tech, and comfortable facility, equipped with the best tech and lots of living space! the minmus rover is able to dock to the base which has an small mining rig to refuel it, so the rover should be useable forever. the rover itself is equipped with all the scientific equipment available.

Valentina decides to take over for the rest of the mission, unfortunately, she's not used to hitting targets during re-entry and ends up landing in a field.oh well. so that's how a tourist mission is done.

Valentina decides its time she gave one of these space planes a ride. at first she was less than thrilled, especially when the plane was engulphed in a fireball, but once they were in orbit she began genuinely enjoying herself! she took over the docking maneuver.

Wendrin docks with the mining station and re-fuels, then she goes down to the surface for a landing. when she -re docks with the station she notices that it's overheating quite badly when she was docking she closed down two of the radiators. for some reason this station will overheat quit badly unless you have the radiators on. Wendrin opens up all the radiators from the mining rigs to cool the station off quickly.once she has everything under controll she undocks and heads back to Kerbin. the last crew parked the tourist bus in a 100kmm orbit, but wendrin decides to part it in an 80 km orbit, as she talked to Isasey and heard about her crazy re-entry. she’s pretty sure these tourists wouldn’t be happy with pulling 16 g’s.

Wendrin is a kind of crappy tour guide, she gets her tourists settled in and blasts off for the mun. she gets nto a raather lazy high orbit around it, just enough to fulfull the tour requirments, but now she’s faced with the problem of how to transfer to minmusfrom the mun. flustered, she sends a message to Verdin, who’s still chilling out on laythe. Luckily verdin is awake, and she sends her back a very ugly course, that will work, but it’ll burn up most of her fuel, luckily the mining rigs orbiting minmus have a fair amount of fuel left in them. she’ll have to refuel there.

Theres three tourists who want to orbit the mun and one of them wants to land on minmus. Isasey and Wendrin team up to take them on their little trip using the tourist shuttle. Isasey digs up an old CTS-01 as the only CTS-03 is out of action and Rodsey is busy fixing it. they fly up to meet the tourist bus and Wendrin transfers over with her tourists. Isasey has pushed the old CTS-01 to its limits, reaching an orbit of 100 km, a feat Rodsey strongly discouraged. unfortunatly rodsey is right, 100km is a bit to high for it, and Isasey has to use up all her fuel and most of her monopropellan to get out of orbit. even so, she’s going to radically overshoot the KSC, so she pulls the craft down more violently then anyone ever has, hitting 16g’s, but it works and she lands rather un-gracefully on the runway.

Valentina wants to do a traditional trip to the mun and she has a tourist to take. the mission goes off without a hitch! of course sending out a mission that costs 160,000 funds and earns 150,000 isn’t very economical.

after some swimming n the icy waters they go back to the shuttle, dry off and head back to the base. verdin hates driving their only way off the planet around on the rugged terrain, but it was worth it. they dock with the mining rig and go to bed.

business continues at the laythe base, Verdin and Julnie decide to go to the nearest beach and have a swim! yay!

Verdin drives the shuttle over to the mining rig and docks it for refueling. the crew poses for a photo, then verdin goes off to plant a flag wile Rayre repacks the chutes on he shuttle and Julnei collects and resets the science package. Verdin and Julnie admire the view as the sun sets on their first day on Layhe.
