A Strange Plant

A once peaceful morning, in a glass garden, there are a plethora of plants living together. They're growing, bathing in the sunlight under the protection of the glass about but looks! In the corner of the glass house, alone, there is a small pot of an unknown tree. They're individuals not because they want so but because the other plants are afraid of their weird look. They don't have any leaves, as instead, they're a structure of honeycomb shape with a lot of spikes. All alone, they grow up, watch other plants from aside but they never give up on trying to get along with them. They decide to do a big advancement, step by step breaking their limitations until one day, the beautiful flowers bloom on them. Those flowers soon catch the eyes of the garden owner and they finally bring that plant of the shadow. Now, the unknown plant that day has become prevalent among the other trees.

A late morning at the orphanage. The sound of laughter filled the air in the forest where the children played.

Nanny 1: She always plays with the kids, huh?

Nanny 2: Look how happy she is playing with the kids~ It's rare to see her so lively and energetic.

Nanny 1: It's almost time for the kids to go to nap. Should we call them in?

Without a single footstep on the grass, a lady in black appeared, looking like a shadow. Not a sound for anyone to recognize her. The two nannies were startled.

Nanny 2: Oh! Lady Starper, I didn't notice you there.

Lady in black: No need to be formal. Just let her play with the kids a little more. Consider it compensation for her childhood, a childhood that cannot be compensated...

There was silence from the two nannies while the lady in black looked calm as usual. They stood from a distance and watched her play with the kids.

A day passed, Bandora was nowhere to be found. It was time for her to hand in the papers containing the information of the people she selected for the team to Zero. Waiting until afternoon in the area he was in charge of, Zero still couldn't find Bandora. He decided to go to her room.

The door was locked, Zero knocked and asked in his usual calm voice:

- Are you in there?

The door to the room suddenly opened by itself and Bandora sat on the bed hugging her pillow with a look of just waking up. Zero sighed and smiled slightly as if thinking why didn't he see this coming.

- About the membership approval papers-

Before he could finish speaking, the papers that the Bandora members chose to lie on the bed flew towards Zero. Bandora speaked up in a grumbling tone:

- It's only afternoon, not night yet and you're already disturbing my sleep!~ *pout*

Zero chuckled lightly, took the papers and replied:

- You're not a vampire, don't sleep during the day and stay up at night like that. Set your sleep schedule, kid.
