I don't understand why people like the idea of Elizabeth/Diane. Even as a friendship ... I mean, of course, two of them interacted but I don't get how the fandom see them as a "friendship" or "brotp" (or even as a couple) if has interacted only with Meliodas and they're the only who have development.

I don’t want to sound rude or anything, but … is this a joke? Or just a misinterpretation of the manga? I understand that you may not like Eliane as a couple, but the development of their friendship is too obvious. I mean…

Did you ignored the part where Diane and Elizabeth establishes the first sign of trust?

Did you ignored the moments where they show seen herself as companions/friends and not just as “a giant girl” or “princess”? And that they show it to each other everytime?

Did you ignored when Diane becomes determined and decided to save Elizabeth?

…and that she is so determined to save her that she even ignores those who attack and discriminate her??? 

…because Elizabeth is her precious friend????

Did you ignored when Diane brightens that she saved Elizabeth because they’re friends, and not for the fact that she is simply the king’s daughter? (And that Elizabeth smiles for this)

Did you really ignored when both of them talk about their love’s interest and then they mencione the time where they were in love with the same guy but this didn’t prevent continue to love and respect each other as friends??

…and the fact that Elizabeth is literally the first person that Diane tells her recovered memories about King?

You ignore when Diane defends Elizabeth of the cold personality that Meliodas use on her?

Did you really ignored their reunion after Diane loses her memories again? And that even if Diane had the same rejection to her like in their first meeting, Elizabeth didn’t care about it and followed her?

…and Diane gets moved for Elizabeth’s friendliness and then saves her, even if she can’t remember their past memories?

…and then Elizabeth saves her?????

…because she is her precious friend?

And then, again, like in their first meeting, Elizabeth didn’t care if Diane is a giant, she considers her a friend and Diane gets moved for their friendship

Seriously, Melizabeth is my  OTP and all but…Meliodas isn’t the only one that Elizabeth have a well-developed relationship. Diane and Elizabeth have one of the best develop of the manga, I think that is pretty obvious.
