All bajan Surfers united today at 3:00pm at Hastings Beach as a tribute to the recently deceased grandfather of surfing 🏄 - at least 50 surfers all held hands in the ocean, said a prayer, and let go of their flowers into the sea! They had a drome flying around capturing great footage of it all!

Barbados takes good care of their sea turtles! Always looking out for them, making sure they are out of danger. A lot of both locals and tourists call this hotline when they see a turtle on the sand at night. We've witnessed it at least 3 times already.

OASIS ON THE BOARDWALK! We love it here! Mark & Mandy rent a small space along Hastings Boardwalk. They have pizza and drinks and host a tranquil setting. Prices are great and the environment is friendly!

Barbados has A LOT of chattel houses. Houses were built on cement rocks and bricks to hold the houses above the ground. The idea is that in case you want to move, your house can be lifted in one piece and placed on another piece of land.
