18.4 And The New Handstand Pushup Standard
18.4 And The New Handstand Pushup Standard #CrossFit #InTheOpen #18point4
The new handstand push-up standard has been all the rage since the announcement of 18.4.  The community has been outraged at the new measurement standard since it causes the line to be higher then the years prior.  No rep after no rep has been the most common complaint.  If you’re struggling to meet the new height then you need to take a step back and look at your handstand pushup form.  Are your…

New Standards For The 2018 CrossFit Open
New Standards For The 2018 CrossFit Open #CrossFit #OpenStandards
The 2018 Open is starting in just five days and we’d thought it be a good idea to remind everyone of the new changes to the movement standards.  With the release of 18.0, everyone was made aware of the changes to the movement standards involving dumbbell snatches and burpees.  CrossFit HQ recently release new standards on hand protection that a lot of athletes still don’t now about.  Here are all…

Review: Reebok Nano 8 Flexweave
Review: Reebok Nano 8 Flexweave
I finally had a chance to try out the new Reebok Nano 8’s and I was really impressed.  First of all, I’ve been a Nike Metcon guy for a couple of years now.  I used Nano’s before but found that Metcon’s were more comfortable when lifting heavy and I really liked the the plastic on the outside of the heel that made handstand pushups easier.  With all that said, here’s my take on the new Nano 8’s:
