Ornate Grave Mount of a Horned Face from Soberton, England dated between 5th - 7th Centuries CE on display at the Winchester City Museum in Winchester, England

The mount is a gilt copper-alloy and was found in Soberton, a Germanic settlement from the 6th Century CE. Due to the Germanic links it is thought this face is to depict the pagan god Woden, the Old English name for Odin. Such depictions are similar to ones found in other Germanic graves in England such as Sutton Hoo where the helmet displays a similar depiction. While it may not be Woden it shows a similar art style to depictions of Germanic mythology over Western Europe such as the Torslunda plates in Sweden from the 6th - 8th centuries CE.
