Kind of loathe how whenever there's talk of some platform banning NSFW content the discussion always jumps to "this is bad because the people who institute these rules think queerness is inherently NSFW!" and it's like yeah but also I think you should be outraged regardless of the slippery slope argument. Yeah I have trauma about it but unfortunately it's a really stupid thing to have trauma about. Yeah honestly if it had happened in a different way at a different time it would have been completely fine and normal. Yeah man like it was just a total confluence of circumstance and now my brain has an allergy against it. Yeah like a peanut allergy but stupider.
#me actively panicking at the feeling of grass touching my foot because i walked barefoot in the grass as a kid and got stung by a bee once#do not ask me why this specifically fucked me up. i dont know. i was 5 and autistic and had mever felt such pain before#and now im terrified of being barefoot in the grass#literally got physic a lly abused as a teen but THIS is what my brain chooses to avoid. not threats of physical violence. just grass#moral of the story is that your brain is not inherently logical and you need to be nice to it
