hear me out:
an action anime about musicians. not slice of life, specifically action. imagine it
IMPOSSIBLE! a shift from that position! how could they have done that so fast? you would have to have nearly superhuman speed to land it in pitch in less than a half beat, not to mention incredible accuracy! and yet somehow....THEIR TONE- is perfect! its intimidating for sure....hahaha! but just wait until my solo!! that will show them whose tone is REALLY superior! I'll blast them away with my doublestops, volume, and counting skills and prove to them once and for all who the better musician is!

I still think one of the most powerful things I’ve ever seen an internet celebrity do was Brian David Gilbert changing his appearance and nicely saying “You’re not my friend and you have no say over what I do with my body.”
It wasn’t mean spirited or a long video, just a clear statement and recognition that parasocial relationships isn’t friendship. I deeply respect that and seeing other internet celebrities use that frame/gif towards nosey fans is great

u know what I would love to see more kind protagonists in creative media and by that I dont mean the overly altruistic caricatures that have become so common, no i just want a character that is motivated by the love and gentleness in their heart and still misunderstands and makes well intentioned mistakes as all people do but I just want them to treat their villains with mercy and not pity and their friends with softness and not judgement

you can’t support autistic people and support the police. No amount of paint jobs or sensitivity training can stop police from killing with impunity

I’m a cis-gender man which basically means that, when I was born, the doctor went “It’s a boy!” and when I was old enough to understand I agreed with him.
The thing is, I don’t know why I feel like a man.  I was teased and bullied for it a lot when I was little.  I’ve never had stereotypically American male interests.  I never cared about sports or cars or guns.  I was more interested in music and cooking and the arts.  I’ve always been emotionally in tune and sensitive, even when I did my best to suppress my emotions to survive a childhood of abuse from other children.
It’s not physical either.  I don’t feel like a man because I have a penis or a beard.  If you put my brain in a robot body or any other body, my essence would still feel male (I assume).  I literally can’t imagine what being any other gender would feel like, since I feel so acutely male.
I think that’s why the concept of being transgender always made sense to me.  I’m a man.  I don’t have any bloody clue why I feel like a man, but I don’t feel that it’s tied to my body or my interests or the way that I’ve been treated.  I feel like a man because of something beyond that.  Something ephemeral.  So, why couldn’t others feel the same?  Why couldn’t a person who’s been misidentified as a girl feel like a boy for the exact same nebulous reasons that I do?
And, since gender really doesn’t make any sense to me anyway, why couldn’t there also be people who feel as if they don’t have one?  Or who flow across genders like a ship on a map?
Are there people out there whose sense of their own gender is inseparable from their physical form?  If you put those people into robot bodies or, simply, other physically different bodies, would their gender identity also swap?  If so, why?  Are they actually more lost in their gender identity than I am and they need to hone in on the physical in order to anchor themselves?
Why do people feel like they are the gender that they are?

I would really love it if nintendo put just a tiny bit more effort in the character design for animal crossing. Hear me out. Eugene is based off a detective right? Wouldnt it be cute if sometimes he walked around town in disguise and anytime u tried to talk to him he would pretend he didnt know u cus hes undercover? I mean come on wouldnt that be so endearing?? And why cant my jock villagers actually go on the jogs they keep talking about? Let them use the treadmill for those sick gains!! Changing the walking style for each personality would go along way too!! Cranky villagers could slouch and stomp a little, lazies could walk really really slow, snooties could walk with their nose in the air!!! this is just what I could come up with in 10 seconds and Nintendo had 6 years to make this game I'm just wondering why they didnt do a little more with it

some advice from Joyce Erin, neighborhood medic:
Please, please, please don't pour milk on peoples' faces who have been sprayed with any kind of chemical irritant. Milk, for a variety of reasons, may provide a momentary relief but is dangerous for our bodies in the long run. It can trap particles against your skin for longer prolonging your exposure to the chemicals, cause infections, and put bacteria in your eyes and face. Which is the opposite of what you need when dealing with chemical exposure. Additionally, the thick white substance will mark them clearly to the cops.
1. A clean water bottle with a sport top cap that will allow you to control the stream of water
2. Have your comrade kneel, ask if they have contacts in. If they do - have them take it out. I know it's painful but contacts need to come out.
3. Ask them to try and keep their eyes open/blinking while you rinse them out. You are physically pushing the particles out of their eyes, which is easier when their eyes are open. Blinking will help too as you do this. That is our bodies natural way to clear out irritants.
4. Use a diagonal motion starting at the bridge of the nose and use a steady stream of water to flush out towards the corner of eyes away from face. You are physically removing the chemical irritants for someone's faces. Repeat on other side.
5. You may need to do this multiple times. IT IS WORTH IT. Think of it like an eye wash in your high school chemical class. This is actually removing the irritants from your face.
6. Contact free spray water in their mouths and if you can have them rinse their mouth and spit far away from you (this is tough with COVID).
7. When they get home do not wear contaminated clothes into the house as much as possible. Put them straight into a washer at high heat. Run an empty cycle between to get rid of the chemicals.
8. Get in the shower right away. Use sturdy soap and let the water run off of your body. Do your best to avoid contaminated water entering your face or genital areas. That is not comfortable.
9. Drink LOTS of water, rest, and listen to your body afterwards. These chemicals impact us and you will need time to recover and heal.

The first pride was a riot, more specifically a riot against police violence. Trans women of colour like Marsha P. Johnson paved the way for the celebration of pride today. You cannot celebrate your pride this month, or any month if you aren’t also supporting Black Lives Matter and the riots going on against police violence right now. Us white LGBTQ+ need to stand up for our black siblings and their rights, their struggles. We need to amplify their voices and show any support we can.
