tasha basementdemo, j.d.
turns out that when you get a degree and write the lsat and apply to law school and get accepted and accept your offer of admission and pay your deposit and register for classes and pay your tuition and buy your books you then have to go to school. to learn the law. fucked up if true

hey i dont why i followed you or who you are. what did you used to post about before the rabies??
wow that's such a fun question. in my prime it was panic at the disco but that was in the mid 2010s . i've worn many hats since then including aphobe, riverdale fan, hater, purveyor of the arts etc

i am going to say something that might make you all mad. but before it does let me appeal to your memories....if you are a longtime basementbarb remember how many things i have told you about that you have thought were cool and good...remember how my taste is stunning and impeccable...... now that we have established this i must say the icarly reboot was genuinely fantastic. i used to stay up and watch it every week and i was so upset when it didn't get renewed after the writer's strike. i so truly recommend partaking...four episodes in spencer accidentally hires a sex worker. bit about freddy being terrified of richard nixon... extended bit with song about how carly's roommate went to number one on the itunes chart for charity singles about missing cousins. it's good

omg also crucially i got rabies. that feels like a big piece of this. like law school is horrible and also, in addition to it being horrible, i got rabies
what do you mean about law school being inhumane?
it's genuinely an evil little place... the vibes are weird, the professors cold call, your entire grade is based on one final exam or one paper worth 100% and the grading is anonymous so no amount of being a good student will help you when judgment day comes, and the job you have when you graduate is determined by a 14 minute interview immediately following your first year. that being said i was crazy fucking good at it

Am I the only one who thinks it's creepy that Mickey from Mar*on 5 dated Z (yes, that Z) when she was 16 and he was 23?
Oh wow I never knew that lol but 16 is the age of consent and clearly she consented so… don’t really see the issue. Plus I’ve dated a girl who was 16 while I was 23 so… lol.
Is it creepy? Depends how you look at it I guess. If you’re assuming they were just having sex and not like, /actually/ in love with each other (which is usually the case when someone in the relationship is that young.. usually love first, then sex,) then yes, kinda creepy, but still consensual and legal and their personal lives lol.
Plus I love Maroon 5, why you acting like it’s an expletive? lmao. Met all of them. Nicest sweetest guys (except for Jesse who was a bit egocentric which was a shock, esp since he used to be my fav after Adam and so into meditation and being a good person. This was forever ago though lol maybe he was in a weird place in 2007 🤷🏼‍♀️)
