Mine is 21GB, loading time from 0% to loaded into family is two hours, my game can't handle large amounts of cc being put in at a time (varies, anywhere from 10 to 50+ items at a time being added can cause pink soup or crashing.) Also, sometimes a singular piece of CC causes crashes for no reason, and may not cause crashes if attempted to be added again at a much later date. 0.o But that part was always the case for me even with a smaller downloads folder.

A clothes line clone acting as a rack would be great! And thank you so much for all the mods you create and for answering my question! Btw, the unfoldable couch bed is another favorite, adds so much versatility and coziness to the game! ♥

Hey! I wanted to really thank you for your laundry mod, it has become one of my favorite mods ever and I always look forward to my sims doing laundry! I also wanted to thank you for the mod being so simple with few files in it, since my game tends to crash when any large number of CC is put in at once. So your mod is super easy to understand and use and it's fun! Is there any plan to add a functional clothes drying rack at some point? Sort of as an alternative to either the dryer or clothes line. Even if you're not interested, thank you anyway!

No plans to add anything new to the laundry system, unless @gummilutt decides to take me up on my offer to make a clean stack of clothes

There's a plan to make the clothesline's clothes fully recolorable, since @lina-cherie and @tedsies discovered they weren't, and used a workaround for now

Indoor drying rack is a nice idea, maybe someday. We could probably bully a clothesline clone into being a rack, minus the animations

Eco-Friendly Home with Rooftop Garden - TS2 Lot Download

I thought I had for sure uploaded the one thing I made from scratch that I'm actually proud of but apparently not, so here it is:

Most of the relevant info is here, but once playtesting I discovered a few minor issues (mostly related to routing). They are as follows:

Please remove the hanging plant directly above the master bedroom door leading to the balcony. After that the door is properly usable again.

move (or delete, as you wish) the plant and hamster cage in the master bedroom to enable access to the bed

there may be temporary traffic jams in the hallway and nursery if too many sims and pets are there at the same time, but I've found this to be a very minor issue

for some reason sims will complain about no available cooking space despite there being one open counter space in the kitchen. After they finish complaining they always cook successfully, though.

Apparently I forgot to turn cheats off while building, so please do place the door leading from the hallway to the living room again, and the backdoor leading to the yard (backdoor is usable regardless, just stays open all the time if not replaced. I use this door now.

Use the Perfect Plants mod for convenience in terms of the rooftop garden. Rather than soil, the ground is a maroon carpet (just thought it looked more vibrant), so watering the plants is going to leave permanent large puddles that are hard to delete manually.

Pets will still use the rooftop garden to go pee even after they've been housetrained (though personally I find this cool!)

Extra note - for some reason the living room couch clips through the wall if placed directly by the wall, which is why I placed a small end table between it and the wall. This is native to the couch itself and not something I can fix.

OTHER COOL STUFF:

I highly recommend the Sunbathe Anywhere mod to enable sunbathing in the rooftop garden in the summer!

Cannot stress enough that the rooftop is accessible - even for pets (though they lack the climbing animation)!

the fridge is fully usable despite the large decoration of climbing flowers placed on it via cheats

same for the TV stuffed near perfectly into one of the living room shelf slots - fully usable!

Since starting to play the lot, I've switched out the treehouse for another, which I think is either this one or this one (my game isn't open right now so I'm going by memory!). This is, of course, a completely optional change.

despite being a very large lot, I've found walking from one end to the other doesn't take long at all for sims.

I can't think of anything else for now. I do hope you enjoy this house as much as I am, and please let me know what you think, including any further issues!

These are by no means great preview pics, especially because editing in those fairy wings...was a task. They look better in game, they're these , colored pink with little glittery hearts pasted on them, which I thought is pretty cool. All that to say, I'm still not dead! I just have a bad habit of playing until I have like a thousand screenshots I should be posting here. xD Anyway, I decided to create and share sims based on two recent popular Barbie dolls - the 2024 Color Change Fairy Barbie, and the 2025 rare, redhead Midge variant of the pink and white dress Deluxe Style Barbie doll.

All I really did myself here was create very simple Bodyshop recolors of @deedee-sims and @alderlock 's lucilla top only dress, a 2009 SalixTree dress from Parsimonious, hat-plays-sims 's plumbob necklace, I believe heels that are by xpinkyhayzx, one of these flower crowns and these glasses by @jacky93sims. If I royally bungled up your creations, I do apologize but I'm pretty proud of the results to be honest, and wanted to share in case anyone else would like these pretties in their game!

Other CC is included unaltered and can be seen in the package file list! There are no default replacements, so all should show up as seen (though some accessories flash blue).

I must ask - how does one get rid of stuck puddles? They can never be cleaned up and not deleted even with move_objects on. They're a deeper / brighter blue than regular, removable puddles, like many piled together.
