Another Financial blog.
After reading an article today about someone my age which is trying to pay down debt with a “relatable budget” I felt the need to put in my two cents (no pun intended). I am so tired of people saying that their budget of $400 a week in spending money, is how you pay down debt on the average salary. I am paying down debt and that is more than my spending money for a month.
Using this blog, I hope to break down my budget, how I save, my debt repayment goals, and perhaps even some things I’ve learned along the way.
I am not a professional, but I am a 27-year old, college-grad, with mounds of student loan and credit card debt who is trying to make smarter financial decisions.

I’ve decided that we all have a lot of shit going on in our lives. There’s a lot that we keep to ourselves and we don’t share it for a reason. We don’t want anyone to know that we don’t have it altogether. At least that’s what it’s like for me. If I’m falling apart, people will ask questions.
