I really like this idea!
Hey so Mark made a point of reminding us that we the viewer are an active participant and character in this thing, and we were âthereâ for the events of WKM and WMLW, yeah? So maybe this wasnât just spooky clues for the next installment, but also Dark interfering with us after we witnessed the events with Wilford and Abe?

In all seriousness I took a death and dying course in college for fun and thatâs when I fell in love with, and began to seriously study, spontaneous or âstreet shrinesâ. These are the organic, unplanned placements of items when someone is killed, generally, and the community almost descends on a spot. I am fascinated by that interfaith, inter-spirit moment of connection fostered. What drives someone to leave the first item? Who guides them there? What do we, as humans, seek from the leaving of a memorial on a place that now hallowed? And we know it is, to some extent, even if weâre not spirit-workers. We have this human need to bear witness, no matter who we are, and over and over again it manifests as this need to build some space, some monument that says âthey were here, and now they arenât here, and we, collectively, of all faiths and walks of life, strangers to each other, will remember themâ
We take comfort in, and protect to some measure, that space we create with tea-light candles and stuffed bears and flowers and it just feels like the Right Thing to Do. We rebuild these spaces when they are torn down by authority and we keep building them up and thatâs beautiful
Street shrines are TRULY universal, too. They are largely non-verbal but itâs like we just KNOW what to do, like something moves inside all of us and it doesnât fucking matter if we canât understand anyone else standing at the site, itâs just a Knowing. Itâs phenomenalÂ

Spent 8 wonderful hours a couple days ago painting four of my wonderful characters from the Starheart kingdom! I tried painting on wood panels for the first time and it was such a cool experience.

The title and description is a bit... ominous if you ask me. Maybe a bit too familiar.
âOh what a happy day haha! Let's spread some joy today haha! We're going to have some fun haha!â
And the masks are a bit familiar as well. Basically, Iâm a very suspicious human right now.

Mark: youâre too focused on the minutiae of it
also Mark: isnât it strange that this one scene has the detective looking at a vape even though itâs film noir? if you think about it, isnât it strange that the detective is surprised by this one name Wilford had if he were obsessed with it for so long? Never ever ever forget that the viewer is a character in this universe!!!!
itâs almost like someoneâs telling us we need to wake up while someone else is telling us to go back to sleep, Mark.Â

When the whole mask thing happened here a long time ago, Mark never really commented on those existing there, either. One day it was just... over and it was never really brought up again.Â
I feel like thereâs something going on here.
Mark was disappointed seeimg us talk about the martini rather than write theories on the mask so thatâs why he acted like he didnât see them.So people would start thinking about the masks.Maybe he gave a hint too.Maybe only Abe or Wilford could see the masks.

Yes I am so interested in this myself! While my ideas are all very far out there, the viewer could possibly have escaped the mirror?
Personally (while almost certainly not true because thereâs zero evidence) I like to think that the viewer made a deal with Dark to get back out of the mirror and went to find Mark in the van videos, but realized he wasnât the same Mark. So thatâs why all the spooky âgo back to sleepâ things happen - Darkâs trying to get at Mark but the viewer is in the way.
Possibly they were a ghost for a while in between escaping the mirror and the van videos? And thatâs how they were able to watch the events of Wilford âMotherlovingâ Warfstache?Â
Alternatively Wilford or Abe could be telling the viewer about this whole thing after it all took place, but I donât know quite how that would work.
Anyway those are my silly ideas because I love just thinking about things in my head even though I donât really know what Iâm doing.
So, I got a question for you nerds
And, stop me if Iâm remembering this wrong but in the Warfstache analysis video, didnât Mark take a minute to make it very super duper clear that in the Who Killed Markiplier universe the viewer is a character? And we see that in Date With Markiplier and Who Killed Markiplier butâŚ.
There was no interaction with the âviewerâ in the Warfstache video. Like at ALL. I didnât originally think anything of it and assumed it was just a style change, but he made SUCH a POINT of stating the viewer is a character in the analysis of that SPECIFIC video.
Am I reading too much into this?? I just wanna hear everyoneâs thoughts!
