yipeee!!! okay okay so i was supposed to have a game yesterday and the thing is we all got there super early, like the game that was happening before ours was still going on early so there was just a solid 30 minutes of all of us chilling waiting for that to be over (i actually didnt mind that it was kinda nice just hanging out with my teammates) AND THEN THE TEAM WE WERE SUPPOSED TO PLAY AGAINST DIDNT SHOW UP. SO WE WERE ALL JUST WAITING FOR NOTHING. AND THE GAME HAD TO BE RESCHEDULED FOR NEXT THURSDAY. (or technically this thursday since its sunday) WHICH IS WHEN OUR NEXT PRACTICE WOULDVE BEEN. im kinda mad about it but atleast it puts the game at afternoon instead of the morning? i like afternoon games much better

i had a game and it was on turf and i was playing goalie and i made a save at some point that had me slide across the turf and i got a big turf burn which if u didn’t know turf is fake grass that acts like a cheese grater on your skin so now i have a bunch of gauze wrapped around my leg 😭

Just realized that the reason I love making friends on tumblr is because it’s exactly how you make friends on the playground as a six year old. No, I don’t know their name but they love mermaids too and built this awesome sand castle. No, I don’t know their age but their imaginary cheetah is friends with mine. You like this show? You like this character?? You can sing the theme song really loud??? Here is a flower crown. Here is a juice box. You can share my time and I might never see you again but part of you stays in my soul forever. In my mind we’re still on the swing set and the sky is blue and nothing will ever be wrong again.

people are absolutely EVIL about the boundaries of “picky eaters”. no, they do not have to try it. yes, they can know they don’t like it without having eaten it before. no, they probably have not suddenly grown a taste for the food they’ve said they hate. no, they probably are not going to like it in the Special Way This One Place Cooks It. yes, you are being a bad friend if you try to “trick” them into eating it anyway
