[ID: two images of bright digital art of Gus Porter standing, looking at the camera. They are the same art, the latter more zoomed in.
Gus holds a glowing blue orb before him and his left eye emanates teal smoke. On either side of him are chronological hands— they draw white circles of light reminiscent of how spells are cast. Behind Gus are three statues from the illusionist graveyard. The one in the center holds its hands down in a mirror of Gus’s pose, where Gus’s head and shoulders are framed by the statue. Gus has a halo surrounding his head in yellow, as well as a blue circlet that matches the galdorstones held by the other two statues. Gus’s halo is the light source. End ID]
any time i watch a new episode of moon knight where harrow appears, i just keep getting reminded that ethan hawke played todd anderson in dead poets society
can we talk about that scene where layla kills that zombie thing (i can’t remember what it’s called) and she is laying on the ground afterwards and screams? because HOLY SHIT. not only is may calamawy’s acting fucking incredible in this whole episode, but it’s also one of the first times we see someone not be okay after something horribly traumatic like that??
like usually the hero or whoever will just continue along and ignore their feelings on the matter, but she doesn’t. we get to see her feel what happened to her and i just think it was incredible.
also the fact that she didn’t play it pretty. like, she was in agony and she played it as such. her grief throughout the episode is so well portrayed, it’s amazing. i am in love with her.
