i remember that what. like 7 or 8 years ago? i was very open about "did you know that they can just be friends" in response to the (back then) huge influx of best friends/rivals in anime being shipped and people actually blocked me for it? lol

like i totally get it wanting to see those two characters kiss,(i myself am a HUGE loser for romance) even more if its gay, and this is NOT a judging view on it or anything btw, but like. i think we severely need to understand the unbridled importance friendship has and how seeing a relationship as just that in fictional characters can be very cathartic, even more upon comparing it to the state of how uselessly complicated society made to be friends nowadays
