Thomso 2018 to Kick Start from 26 October

Once again IIT Roorkee is all set to host one of the largest cultural festivals of North India, Thomso 2018. With more than 150 events, it is expected that over 30,000 people are going to attend the three-day spectacular edifying event from 26 October 2018. The online registration for Thomso 2018 has already started. Hellotravel is the official travel partner of the 36th Thomso cultural fest, and the event will be playing host to a number of intellectuals, celebrities and media moguls. This year, the theme for Thomso is Seized By Stardust.

The main attraction for Thomso will be the Literature fest, followed by the Workshops. Under the banner of Literary Festival of Thomso 2018, there will be a countless number of events which becomes the rendezvous point for various professional writers, poets, columnists, cartoonists, lyrists, publishers and readers. The Thomso Workshops will conduct the interactive sessions with the various intellectuals, business magnates and other eminent personalities for students.

IIT Roorkee will also be conducting Karwaan, which is a talent hunt at various cities to provide an opportunity to enter the finals of the various competitive events of Thomso. Another initiative of Thomso to reach out a wider audience is through the various online events, which will cover activities like Sketching, Photography, Fashion, Quiz, Literacy, and Travel. Lastly, a Thomso Carnival, which is the cherry on top of the icing, and it will conduct events such as Paintball, Human Foosball, Boulevard Games, Body Zorbing and Human Dodgeball.
