The girls had their senior pictures tonight. I put on a big pot of gumbo before we left for Port Lavaca so we could come home to this! So yummy. And the house smells like a restaurant straight out of NOLA.

Pot roast in no time ❤ Love this instant pot! Having it over white rice (also made in the instant pot) and French bread. 👆🏼 girl is cutting the carbs and adding a side salad with avocado and vinaigrette.

So, after working 9 hours and a 3 hour drive both ways to work, I come home, cook a delicious chicken noodle soup dinner, chase after kids, clean up, pack for the weekend and I get to steam and press Kait's uniform for an inspection drill tomorrow morning at 530am... my work never ends. Kait played her heart out today in a district tennis match and lost by only a couple of points to advance on to regionals. It was her best match yet, but just wasnt enough. She politely asked me to do her uniform as she showered and went to bed early for this competition tomorrow (today). Anything for the kiddos. Anything. It's been a hectic evening between my 3 and packing and doing laundry for the weekend and getting ready to take little man back Sunday. It's so worth every single moment of exhaustion. I wouldn't have this crazy life any other way ❤ Get ready 530am... my feet will hit the floor and I won't stop! As always.
