1. What is an ultrasonic generator?
  Ultrasonic generator is a kind of equipment that converts the mains power into the corresponding high-frequency AC power of the transducer, to drive the transducer to work. It is an important part of high-power ultrasonic system. It can also be called electronic box, ultrasonic driving power supply and ultrasonic controller.
 2. Ultrasonic generator working principle
 The input of the ultrasonic generator is a signal with a fixed frequency. The signal waveform is uncertain and can be sinusoidal or pulsed, but its frequency is fixed as the frequency of the transducer, generally 20, 25, 28, 33, 40, 60KHZ, etc. Through the internal conversion of the ultrasonic generator, its output is power signal, frequency tracking signal, etc.
 As the output signal presents an unstable state with the change of input signal, some ultrasonic generators also contain feedback parts, which are mainly reflected in two aspects:
 On the one hand, the change of the input signal leads to the instability of the output power, resulting in irregular mechanical vibration of the transducer and poor cleaning effect. After adding the feedback part, the power feedback signal adjusts the output power so that it does not change with the change of the input signal and presents a stable state. The regular mechanical vibration of the transducer makes the cleaning effect better.
 On the other hand, the efficiency is the highest when the frequency of the transducer is at the resonant frequency point, but in practice, it cannot always work in the best state due to various reasons. Therefore, the feedback part plays its role to provide frequency tracking signal, and the signal sent by the control signal generator is always at the resonant point of the transducer to make it always work in the best state.

Ultrasonic level gauge is a non-contact instrument dedicated to continuous measurement of liquid level. It mainly sends out high-frequency ultrasonic pulses through an ultrasonic transducer. When it encounters the surface of the liquid level to be measured, the sound wave is reflected back, and part of the reflected echo is received by the transducer and converted into an electrical signal.  1. The working principles of the ultrasonic transducer
 The ultrasonic transducer uses the piezoelectric effect of the piezoelectric ceramic with the same resonant frequency to convert electrical energy into mechanical vibration. Ultrasonic wave is usually generated by ultrasonic generator, which is converted into mechanical vibration by high frequency ultrasonic transducer, and then ultrasonic wave can be generated by ultrasonic export device and ultrasonic receiving device. Therefore, as an energy conversion device, the function of the ultrasonic transducer is to convert the input electrical power into mechanical power (ultrasound) and then transmit it out, while it consumes a small part of the power.
 The structure of ultrasonic transducer mainly has several major components such as housing, acoustic window (matching layer), piezoelectric ceramic disc transducer, backing, lead-in cable, and receiver.  1. Magnetostrictive ultrasonic transducer

 The piezo ultrasonic transducer can also be divided into two categories according to the type of material. One type is made by cutting and grinding a single crystal material with piezoelectric properties (such as quartz crystal) in a certain direction. It is characterized by high transmitting power and high electroacoustic efficiency, and is suitable for working in the high frequency range (up to several gigahertz). However, due to the high impedance, the supply voltage is relatively high and inconvenient to use. The other type is piezoelectric ceramics formed by pressing, sintering, and polarizing powdered materials. It is characterized by easy molding, high electroacoustic efficiency, low impedance, and lower power supply voltage than the former, and it is also suitable for high-frequency range work.
