Even if the reader has a hard time grasping what Ginsberg is saying in a line like “angelheaded hipsters burning for the ancient heavenly connection to the starry dynamo in the machinery of night,” there is still meaning. On that note, what might Ginsberg be saying here within the context of the poem and the era itself? Also if this line was placed into the context of our era would the meaning change?
