He sets her down gently, making a show of flexing when she mentions his lack of casts.

"Yep! Doc says my arms made a miraculous recovery. Fastest healing he's ever seen even though that jerk broke em' both pretty bad. He's such a pal. I'll never be the same!" He's seemingly acting overdramatic.

"I gotta do boring stuff later, they're making me a team leader or somethin' so I wanted to sneak away and hang out before I'm trapped again."

"Heh...?" The questioning sound ejecting from her throat as her bottom end lifts off of the grass. Nia kicks her feet with surprise, up until she realizes whose grabbed on.

"Where to...?" She was going to go along, anyway. "Ah, hey, they... freed your limbs...."

Oh yeah, his mask! How had he forgotten somehow. Surely any kind of facial hair would be a nightmare. Jin already hated it when his stubble would grow in too much, but the fabric against a full mustache or beard?

Nightmare.

"Gentle Criminal! That guy was kind of weird. But so dashing! He reminds me of Mister a little now that I think about it." Now he's got a serious expression. "What if they're related?"

"And Compress, he's definitely bald, but Toga thinks he's got a bowl cut." He leans in as if whispering a secret meant ONLY for the two of them. "We have a bet goin' on. I can let you in on it ."

He's joining in the laughter, loud and because Nia always brings this kind of joy whenever she's around. Every new member to their band of misfits brings something unique and special, and even though they haven't known each other for years or anything like that, Jin can't imagine the League without her.

"Have you ever done anything with your hair? Grown it really long? Or cut it super short. Buzz cut!" A series of ideas, slew of options all said in different tones, the man is sure she'd look nice in any style.

"Hmm, that's tough...." She murmurs thoughtfully, tapping her own chin. It was nice to have moments like this, and at times she could even forget the nagging feeling that she had in the back of her mind that told her that it was all temporary. Don't get too comfortable with places or people, it never lasts. However, it was beginning to feel that perhaps her place with the League was more permanent.

"How would... a beard work... with your mask?" Nia contemplates the logistics of it, but if it covered his hair than it should do the same for a beard. "I've... never seen Mister's chin, do... you suppose he has... a beard under there? Or... maybe he's completely... bald like a cue ball...."

The mental imagery of a shiny, smooth head on Mister and Jin with his old-fashioned facial decoration sent her into a fit, choking on her cigarette before she plucks it out of her mouth to clear her airway between coughs and laughs.

"Like... that one guy they... talked about on... the news...? Gentle Man...? Maybe that... could work for... you, too."

"We got along pretty well. I always looked out for her, not that she really needed it. She thought tha' world of me, no idea why." The little girl had seen her big brother as a hero. "Honestly, she had me wrapped around her fingers. She's the whole reason I can help Toga do her hair. 'Course, we got into our little fights here an' there but never anything we couldn't bounce back from."

Surprise! He's lifting her off the ground slightly into a big hug seemingly out of nowhere.

"Nia! I'm kidnapping you, Come' on."
