( hiatus notice !! )

hello friends !! clearly, i haven’t been on here as much and it’s because i haven’t really been feeling my muse for these girls so much lately and i don’t want to write anything half-assed so i’ll be putting this blog on a hiatus. this means i’ll be dropping all threads i’ve had at this point but you can still find me on @thervnaways​ as i’m always on there. i’ll be back here again, though, because i love these girls too much to let them go completely.

        it was definitely not bad not having to work for once and having daphne’s company on top of that, but lara couldn’t help but notice quite a few messy things at that event – things she wouldn’t tolerate if she was the one doing it. “ no, it’s not. but god, how could they leave things like this? ” she shook her head, subtle judgement clear in her eyes.

                   for a few seconds, the dj just stares at her girlfriend. it takes that time for her to process what she’d just said and once she had, she’s bursting with laughter. “THAT’S what you’re thinking about?” and she thought she wasn’t having a good time. “babe, you can rant about it all you want but at the end of the day, it’s not your party to fix. don’t you wanna just... dance? and have fun?”

                  “c’mon. it’s just one party.” they’d been to so many together before but not like this. “like, i know YOU didn’t organize it but is that so bad? that neither of us have to work at a party?” daphne just wanted a fun day with her girlfriend without having to think about doing a good job in order to get paid.

          “ i’m saying i want more, you dork. ” lara replied with a soft laugh, knowing daphne long and well enough to know that she was teasing. leaning up, the event planner placed another kiss to her lips, even if brief. “ are you telling me you don’t want it too? ”

                  ‘dork’ sets off the laughter in the dj, making her grin from ear to ear as she tilts her head back. it had been a pretty tiring night at the party but she still enjoyed herself, especially because she was with lara. “you kidding me? i wanna kiss you ‘til i fall asleep.”

                    𝓼𝓱𝓮  𝓹𝓻𝓮𝓽𝓮𝓷𝓭𝓼  𝓼𝓱𝓮’𝓼  𝓷𝓸𝓽  𝓪𝓽  𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓼𝓽  𝓪     little  bit    bummed    that  the  other  doesn’t  love  to  shop  as  much  as  she  does .   even  so ,   she  lets  herself    cling    to  the  other  with  a  carefree  skip .    ‘  we  can  do    anything    though ,   we  don’t  have  to  shop .   honestly ,   i  think  anything  would  be  great .   i’m  just  glad  to  be  out  for  a  night .  ’    holly  gives  kitty  a  carefree  smile ,   pointing  down  the    brightly    lit  road .    ‘  there’s  lots  of  cafes  down  here .  ’

                 kitty would never understand the life that her friend was about to lead, at least not understand it deep enough to be able to really see that this was a moment to be cherished. for sure, she thought, they’d have more days together in the future. she hoped anyway. “no, shopping’s fine! we can go after we get some cute cakes at a cafe.”
