All Coaches & ADs

The BC High School Track & Field Championships are a little over one week away, taking place from May 31 - June 2, 2018 at McLeod Stadium in Langley BC. As the final performance lists get published, and to help prepare items for your arrival, we ask that coaches carefully review the following information and complete the tasks ahead of the BC Championships.

Package Pick Up

Meet packages, including the race numbers, will be available beginning at 1:15pm on Thursday, May 31.

Please ensure the designated school coach is present to pick up the package for the school team and have a letter ready (on school letter head from principal) at package pick up that indicates who is the designated representative for the championships. 

Please note that all athletes must have a designated school-coach representative with them for the duration of the BC High School Track & Field Championships. The school package, containing race numbers, will only be handed out to the designated teacher-coach, as determined by the school principal.  Packages must be signed-out in their entirety.

School Tiering

This is our second championship with tiering, please review the following  Tiering List  to see what category your school is competing under. We will be updating school totals throughout the meet, we ask that schools stay behind to receive their banners during the final presentations at the end of the meet.

 Relay Declarations

A maximum of 6 athletes may be 'declared' per relay team. Please fill out the following form, Relay Declarations 2018 , to confirm the names of your athletes for each relay team. Just a reminder...

- an athlete may not compete on two of the same relays at different age groups (i.e. cannot run a Jr. Girls 4x100m and a Sr. Girls 4x100m).

- a runner on a school's 'B' team cannot be moved to an 'A' team - athletes must be 6 different individuals per team.

BC Championships Info

Here is a summary of the time sensitive information you need for the BC Championships. Read over the technical package for ALL the details coaches and athletes need to know.

1. Multi-Events Championships: Entries are due Monday, May 21st 10:30pm PST via TrackieReg 2. BC Championships schedule 3. The full BC Championships technical package 4. Open Zone entries for Juniors and Seniors is Sunday May 19th 9:30pm PST via TrackieReg. There are 2 separate events for this in Trackie; one for Juniors and one for Seniors. Top 8 finishers from the Fraser Valley Championships are automatically entered (i.e. Coaches do NOT have to do anything for those athletes). 5. Grade 8 invitational entries are due Sunday May 19th 9:30pm PST via TrackieReg. 6. Scratch deadline for BCs is May 24th at 3:30pm PST. Schools will be billed for any athletes on their roster after this.
