gotham (2014) is one of the few live actions iterations where u can say “yah this seems like the place someone would resort becoming a bat themed vigilante” bc not only is gotham fucking insane (freeze guns, fire attacks, drugs causing super strength, reanimation of corpses) but bruce wayne himself is just this wild little dude who at twelve years old investigated the criminal underground, forced alfred to teach him how to make bombs, and threatened the entire wayne enterprise board. not to mention his two role models are alfred (sass master supreme who tried breaking out of the hospital after getting stabbed) and jim gordon (one of the most hated men in gotham who almost dies every single day of the week). so like
