I’m probably not the first to notice, but after Bob dies in The Outsiders then we see him in the rumble, his shirt is lighter. I know all the Socs are wearing lighter shirts, BUT in Stay Gold, Johnny’s shirt also looks lighter. I think this symbolizes that they’re now “ghosts” and have gained (some) of their innocence back after they died. I don’t know, maybe I just look into stuff too much

Hcs where the Curtis bros have like a baby sister (who’s like three or something) and the whole gang is basically her big brothers?

Okay this is such an adorable idea

So right off the bat Dally tries to teach her swear words and stuff to try and piss off Darry.

If Steve or anyone looses a poker match Soda would try and tell her to go up to him and say how bad he lost in her sweet voice.

You hear from the next room SODA WAS THIS YOUR DOING!

Actually really anyone does this.

Darry gives her the best treatment out of anyone. Like she gets ice cream before dinner and then everyone else complains.

Twobit dances with her to records and does crazy impressions when she is sad.

Ponyboy reads to her little bed time stories, or teaches her poetry. Sometimes he makes up his own stories.

If they take her with her to the store or a play date, everyone goes and she sits at the front of Darrys truck and I hc her to be a little sassy and to tell the boys off if something they are doing is bad or anything.

If anyone in her preschool class bullies her like a soc, they give the kids older brother hell at school.

When she gets a little older, they give her boy advice or just plain school advice. (It’s never good advice, but Darry tells her what to actually do later)

Twobit watches Mickey with her when she has to be babysat.

I think her and Twobits younger sister would be the best of friends and they have playdates a lot.

Overall, they are just a bunch of protective older brothers of her even if they don’t wanna admit it.
