Bahama Bob’s is right on the beach. It’s an excellent location for some food just a small walk from several public beaches. This is the Bahama Bob Burger. It’s a cheeseburger with Swiss cheese and pineapple. I was interested to add some fruit to my burger palette, but I was a little let down. The Swiss tasted very bland compared to the pineapple and I’m not sure if that was the point, but I think some aged cheddar or maybe Muenster would be a better choice to make it more flavorful. The patty was thin, but huge. It was basically an inch and half outside of the bun on all sides. I asked for medium, but it was cooked to well. I don’t think there was enough room inside the patty to allow some pink. I feel if the meat was pattied out to be the same size as the bun, it would make the overall presentation of the plate look amazing. I give this burger a 4/10. It wasn’t horrible, just much more to be desired. @wahlburgers is an amazing place owned by The Wahlburg brothers. It has a lot of Mark Wahlburg memorabilia and movie posters and the food is actually really good and reasonably priced. This location is in the OWA amusement park in Foley, Alabama. This is the Triple Decker Cheeseburger. It’s three 3oz patties, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and Paul Whalburg’s signature sauce. This is a tasty burger!! A solid 7 out of ten. This is the massive bacon double cheeseburger at The Keg in Orange Beach, Alabama. They have a wall of awards for their famous burgers and I’ve heard a ton of people tell me to check them out and tonight I finally got the chance. The menu boasts about the size of this one saying “if you can handle it” and they weren’t kidding. It was HUGE!! Well, I did my best and succeeded. Couldn’t finish the fries though. This was a very juicy burger cooked to perfection. My only complaint was that it seemed to be high on the saltiness level. I was told they used celery salt and Worcestershire sauce. It was a bit much for my taste buds, but I give it a solid 7/10. This bacon cheeseburger is actually from @applebees in Foley, Alabama. What a lot of people don’t know or what most are scared to do is adding an extra patty and extra cheese. It’s a lot to take on, but if you’re hungry like I am 100% of the time, you should go for it!! This cheeseburger is the Pony Burger at the World Famous Pink Pony Pub in Gulf Shores, Alabama. I was actually disappointed in this one. It came out hot and smelled great, but was a little over cooked making the burger dry and the taste was lacking. This could be a one time issue, but I went back for a second try and had the same outcome. 4/10 not horrible.
