i repainted my old wlw blyla art !! because the drawing is pretty solid but the rendering was so washed out on the original omg and i still get notes pretty often on the old post! which is great im glad people like it! but KNOW i can do better and here it is <3 so happy with this ive never painted over old art before and it turned out so well!!

Something something Detective Pikachu but it's with Cody, and Obi-Wan turned into a shiny Luxio (because I'm the artist and Luxio/Shinx/Luxray are my favorite Pokémon).

Btw I know nothing about the Detective Pikachu games and only watched the movie once like 7 years ago. So this is mostly just me wanting to draw Obi-Wan as a Pokémon, and Cody's there too because I love him.

The plot is just Luxio Obi-Wan and Cody running around trying to figure out how to turn Obi-Wan back into a human and along the way they somehow uncover the Sith Plot and save the Galaxy. All while Obi-Wan doesn't have opposable thumbs.

thinking about obi-wan and padme antics with her as his padawan lmaoo

they don't fight as much as obi-wan and anakin but something about being constantly out-served by his apprentice definitely riles obi-wan up

the first sketches i did for my jedi!padme au! where she is trained by obi-wan as the chosen one and a non-force-sensitive anakin studies politics on naboo and goes on to become the first senator for tatooine (more of me yapping under the cut)

i like to think even as a jedi she still has a few different outfits she switches between (the one pictured being one of her staples in the last few years of her padawan-ship) and at the very least she has a new hairstyle for every day!!

in my version of this au also she would use qui-gon's lightsaber for most of her time as a padawan (it gets destroyed on geonosis rip). the reasons why are kinda hard to explain without just writing a fic about it which i really want to do but have no time for lmaooo but it's at obi-wan's insistence she takes it instead of it being buried with qui-gon.

feel free to ask me more about the au in general if anyone's curious because it is all i have been thinking about for weeks now hahaha

it’s hot take tuesday SO… my personal headcanon is that rex was an arc trooper in cody’s legion who worked with padawan anakin! they got along so well that as soon as anakin got knighted, he promoted rex and let him lead the 501st (which is why he has the fun pauldron thing and why he’s designated CT instead of CC!)
