It’s okay to be a beginner at the things you are interested in. There is no reason to feel intimidated by people more advanced than you are, because they too were in your place at one point. Keep learning and growing and expanding in whatever it is that you love and let nothing and no one stop you. You don’t have to be at the same stage as someone else. You can just be at your stage and that one is okay too.

To all the teenagers following me that don’t hear it from their parents: I’m proud of you.

Seeing unhealthy patterns in your family and deciding that those pattens end with you and will not be passed down to future generations is an extremely brave and powerful decision.

Forgive yourself for repeating what was taught to you as a child, then put the conscious effort into deprogram these patterns.

if someone refuses to better themselves, that’s on them and you’re not obligated to stick around and hold their hand while they complain about the big mean world demanding that they own up to their own actions

Don’t even trip when you get cut off or cut someone off. Keep that “it was nice while it lasted, but it was nice to know you” energy & move on.

you deserve people who listen to you ramble. you deserve people who love it when you’re excited, when you’re happy. you deserve people who check up on you and wish to see you well, people who not only accept you for who you are - but rejoice in it.
