This is the first time I've ever drawn any fire emblem character, and I haven't played any of the games so I hope my research did Forsyth justice! To be honest I saw that line of dialogue and immediately knew what I had to do LMAO, I love silly puns and this one is so iconic I couldn't not include it. Also drawing this made me realise rendering armour is actually fun and I should definitely do it more often :]

(maybe one day I'll eventually get around to playing a fire emblem game they look really fun!)

Merry Secret Santa, @yaraneechan! I got Ichi Mezato. I've been meaning to watch Mob Psycho 100 for a long time, but I've been putting it off for way too long. I really wish I had watched it because I couldn't find a lot of information about Homegirl, so it feels disconnected. I didn't like this one for a loonng time, but now I kinda do, and I hope you do as well!

Any time in your timezone works :D I wanted to pick one day to make it feel more like an event of exchanging, while also keeping a pretty wide and flexible window since I don't know (or won't tattle) which timezones people are in 👍

🎁 A Bean-cret Santa! ⛄️

A fanart secret santa open to any kind of art medium, any skill level. Drawing, crafting, collages, edits, moodboards -- whatever your specialty is, go for it! The goal is to have fun and create for some new characters/ocs you wouldn't have before

You can enter until the end of the month, then I'll send out art assignments within the first days of November.

Please read the instructions/rules under the cut 👍👍 This is meant to be fun and laid back, so don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything

EDIT: Jsyk I've been sending everyone a dm after they send an ask, just to confirm I got the request (since tumblr eats asks sometimes rip)

To submit, send me an ask or DM saying you want to participate and request a character to receive as your gift.

1) If not otherwise specified, I'll give your username to your secret santa for when it's time to post gifts.

2) You can remain anonymous to everyone else -- just send me your request and finished product and I'll post them for you, keeping your ID a secret the entire process. I'll also make sure you see your gift!

3) You can be 100% anonymous, and send this blog an anon ask with your request + some kind of unique identifier (fake name, code word, emoji) and I'll make a public post assigning gifts to each fake name so you can see what you'll be creating. The only issue I need to work out is how to post completed gifts, as you can't send images anonymously... I'll work on that and get back to you...

Any character is welcome to request -- ocs, book/podcast characters without official images, celebrities, popular characters but you're picky about something, etc! If they aren't easily searchable on the internet, try to send thorough pictures or text descriptions for your secret santa to work with.

You're free to request multiple characters as options to choose from, ships, or groups of characters, but your secret santa is only responsible for drawing one.

I'll officially close submissions on Oct 31. Assignments should be ready the following day or so.

Gifts will be posted on Dec 31. If you think you'll be a few days late, that's fine, just give me a heads up and your receiver will be patient :) If you realize you can't or don't want to participate anymore, thats also fine -- just let me know as soon as you know so I can reassign the gift lol

No nsfw work. I have nothing against it, it can just get sticky especially if things are anonymous and I can't be sure people are 18+

Let me know in your submission if there are any triggers or squicks you're afraid may appear in your gift. No need to give me any personal info, just things that you believe have a possibility of appearing given the character/media you requested.

I will be using a digital randomizer to assign these -- I'll know who has who so that I can facilitate, but I won't have a hand in any of the assignments.
