a funny thing about having a Problematic Blorbo is that you'll periodically come across a post along the lines of "um let's not forget that [Blorbo] is a bad person..." listing their various crimes, and if you have a modicum of intellectual honesty you find yourself nodding along and saying yeah it's true... but it's the greyness of their character that makes them so compelling... At the same time though you have a little Saul Goodman in your ear going "your honor in their defense: who cares like omfgggg who caresssssss like come onnnnnn"

Well...he’s not wrong. (Except for veering around anything to do with Thanos and the Chitauri. But I already made a massive post on why he does that.)

Everyone on Asgard always ignores Jotunheim. I’d bet Loki killed more Jotuns with the Bifrost than he and the Chitauri killed on Earth.

Again, Loki’s not wrong. Odin has killed LOADS more people than Loki, and not only is he not in prison, he gets to send people there.

I really want to know what she was going to say in Odin’s defense now....Probably something along the lines of “Your father has a reason for everything he does.”

Good Loki. He has every right to disown Odin. Odin already washed his hands of Loki, not to mention the whole “your mom’s the only reason I didn’t kill you” thing.

Frigga. That’s not what he said. He disowned ODIN, not you. Do not try to make him choose between accepting the man who drove him to attempt suicide then later expressed a desire to kill him as a father, and having no parents at all.

And he’s learning boundaries. Despite how visibly difficult it is for him, he refuses to accept Odin.
