I’m just saying if Daniel Radcliffe, the literal protagonist of the Harry Potter franchise since the age of ten years old, was able to disavow JK Rowling and move on from the HP universe then actually what the fuck is anyone else’s excuse. Gaza Fundraiser Requests, 7/18/2025

Below is a list of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip who have reached out to me via my ask-box this past week. I compile these new lists and post them every Friday. I will also share the individual donation posts for added visibility.

A few updates on the state of Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza:

On May 18th, the Israel Defense Forces proudly announced a new offensive called “Operation Gideon’s Chariots.” It was approved on the 5th, and an escalation of bombing and shelling has followed. This offensive is ongoing.

As of May 19th, right-wing Israeli PM and genocidaire Benjamin Netanyahu has permitted a trickle of food and aid to enter. However, it’s still nowhere near enough to meet the purposely neglected needs of the populace.

The IDF currently distributes meager amounts of food through Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), an Israel and US-backed non-profit contractor. However, multiple reports have revealed that the GHF distribution sites' conditions are absolutely atrocious. Overcrowded, caged lines; forcing people to fight over scraps of aid; and risking death or injury by IDF gunfire if they even approach.

As of July 13th, the IDF has killed more than 800 Palestinian civilians at these GHF sites, according to the UN's human rights office. This death toll grows daily. Some Palestinians avoid th

Needless to say, the above is another example of Israel’s continued use of starvation as a weapon of war, which is classified as a war crime under Article 8(2)(b)(xxv) of the ICC's Rome Statute. Multiple medical scholars, humanitarian organizations and human rights experts have identified it as such.

To make matters somehow worse:

On June 12th, the IDF has bombed the very last fiber-optic route in Gaza, causing a region-wide internet blackout. This explains why donation requests suddenly slowed down a few weeks ago.

There has also been a severe, ongoing shortage of eSims, which allow Palestinians limited online access during the occupation’s blackouts. Consider donating eSims via either Connecting Humanity or Crips for eSims for Gaza.

Palestinians in Gaza still need all of the help they can get to rebuild their lives, as well as heal from the horrific physical and psychological violence inflicted upon them by the Israeli occupation.

"The US could stop the genocide in Gaza tomorrow!" Yes. As the biggest weapons supplier, the US could stop the genocide. But so could the EU, and that's not getting enough attention.

Israel's economy couldn't survive without the EU, not even for a short time. The EU is Israel’s largest trading partner and the biggest investor in Israel (nearly twice as big as the United States) and the EU is the main destination for Israeli investment.

Firm economic sanctions by the EU would not be some long term pressure builder, they would have immediate effect. The EU could stop the genocide in Gaza tomorrow. They choose not to.
