Cross-cut walnut clocks. A coat of urethane and nothing else, just the natural, beautiful wood.

This board kind of speaks for itself. The grain and pattern are extremely unique. It’s one of the many reasons I like working in wood; each piece of walnut or ash has a personality, and it’s my task to make it into something that shows that personality off. I think that’s true of all crafts and art in general.

Cutting boards don’t have to be so square, daddy-o. Oval edge-grain cutting boards made from cherry wood. Thanks for looking!

A few walnut edge-grain cutting boards I have in stock. The first one was constructed to accentuate the grain pattern of the wood, attempting to make it look like the strata of an old piece of desert stone. The second uses rich heartwood and an accent of maple to set it off, with a small stripe of sapwood mirroring the maple accent. The last board is made of a less rich piece of walnut stock that made the end result look rustic, almost like barn wood.
I take commissions, so if you’re interested in getting something made custom order for you, or as a gift, message or email me here, through my Etsy store, or my Facebook page and we’ll try to work something out. Thanks for taking a look!
