Hobbies

LEGOSI He... browses the internet, plays video games and reads books and manga and watches movies? Those could be hobbies. Legosi isn’t strong or coordinated enough for sports, can’t even press a note on the piano and doesn’t have much of an interest in either. If getting into dumb situations and nearly dying counts as a hobby, then he’s pretty good at that.

LOUIS Being the heir of Horns, Louis is expected to receive top marks in all subjects and prepare himself to take over his father’s conglomerate in a moment’s notice. What little free time he has to himself, he savours it. His free time is spent reading and playing his keyboard. He prefers the keyboard because nobody else can hear what he plays except for him when his earbuds are plugged in. While Chopin is his favourite composer, he finds himself playing Satie more. Satie’s works are calm, easy to play, and pleasant to the ear. A perfect antidote to his life’s constant stressful situations.

JUNO Between school work and her busy social life, Juno doesn’t have much time to herself. While her nights are spent browsing the internet, often on Beastbook, she does have an acoustic guitar which cost 200,000 yen, which she takes excellent care of. She also spends some of her allowance on singing lessons. She’s pretty good at both. 

BILL Like Juno, he also sings and plays guitar. He’s been playing guitar for longer than Juno has, but he hasn’t taken any singing lessons yet. He’s not bad, but his singing voice is way too loud and way too dudebro-ish. Same goes for his guitar playing. And yes, he knows a few John Mayer songs. And Wonderwall. And Fast Car.

PINA Pina also plays guitar and sings. He only just started, though. He’ll probably stick with it and get twice the girls he already does in two years’ time. Most of his allowance is spent on manga, anime and conditioner for curly hair that always costs $15 because that’s how much even the poorest of people with curly hair are willing to spend for their self-esteem. 

IBUKI Ibuki knew full well that he wouldn’t have much time to himself if he stuck to his life of crime. It was either that or die. He won’t tell you much about himself, but if you bring up the beautiful landscape paintings he owns, he’ll smile before he goes back to talking about whatever you were talking about before. Maybe if you ask nicely, he’ll draw a landscape for you. He doesn’t have any fancy paints or markers or electronic drawing tablets, but he’ll still draw you one hell of a fishing scene on a foggy day with the blue ballpoint pen he found on his desk.

GOHIN Gohin’s love of reading stemmed from his childhood. His parents had a large collection of fiction and nonfiction books in their study where he’d often hole himself up after school. If smoking weed and taking LSD both count as hobbies (more things from his childhood and teenage years he carried into his adult years) then he could possibly be the world champion at both, but don’t tell his place of employment that. If he finds out that you ratted him out, then he’ll gladly demonstrate another passion of his on you - weightlifting. Whether it’s his muscles or his equipment he uses on you is all up for him to decide. 

SEBUN Sebun’s love of sports doesn’t stop at apparel. She’s an avid follower of professional women’s sports, soccer, tennis and baseball in particular. While she doesn’t have an athletic build (she’s, uh, quite well-endowed,) she still managed to always make it to the finals of div 1 tennis in her university days. 

MERON Meron’s an enigma. Lord only knows what happens in that head of his or what he gets up to when he isn’t doing God knows what to fatten up that bank account of his. He’ll have a few interests in something, but what those things are exactly, he won’t ever tell you. That powerful 1250cc motorcycle of his? Sure, he often takes it on long rides into the countryside, but he bought it because he doesn’t like taking the train. Those giant stacks of DVDs in his apartment? Who let you into his apartment? Get out before he comes back.

YAFYA Being a Beastar who dedicates himself to fighting crime in this gigantic city, Yafya hasn’t got the time to draw pretty pictures or kick a soccer ball. Give him a pretty mare with powerful legs or a good movie for the night and he’ll be happy no matter what time he gets woken up at.
