Activity going forward

From now until June 2026, I will be a full-time student. This means that my studies need to be a priority. On top of this, from the 31st of August, I'll be moving into a student flat in another city so that I no longer have to travel 3 hours to college and then 3 hours back every day, but this does also mean that wifi will likely not be as good as what I have at home. I'll, of course, be as active as is possible when I'm able but as I've said, my studies must come first, as well as my time in the corps as I'm now joining a second unit and splitting my time between being the Unit Training Officer, Boating Officer, Divisional Officer of all seniors and Physical Training Instructor in my original unit but also assissting at the unit by my student residence too, on top of looking for extra work as well to help cover apartment fees. The main places you can find me are texashunt, artificialperscn and syntheticblues. Your patience going forward would be much appreciated.

ACTIVITY GOING FORWARD

Just so everyone knows, I'm starting college on Monday, so activity will likely take a hit. I realise I've been away a lot recently due to the corps, but things are going to get busier. I have to be up, dressed and on the bus by 5.40am on tuesdays, and 6.40 on mondays and wednesdays, instruct in the corps on tuesdays and thursdays, plus the gym on fridays on top of training every day when I have time, so I'm going to be very tired. It'll take me a while to become accustomed to this, so please be patient with me as my education needs to be my primary focus right now. Atm I can mainly be found on prayerlearned, likely texashunt as well as a secondary. But it'll all depend on muse, time and how tired I am tbh. Again, I appreciate those who are patient with me in the meantime. I really want to stay active but, like I said, I do need to focus on my studies. 🩶

"Y... you know my brother?" The Texan tried with a look of concern, never quite sure how to take that. His sibling didn't always rub people the right way, despite usually having good intentions. Though it was sometimes his mouth that got away from him more often than not. The very opposite of Ethan, who seemed to stand at the other end of the scale when it came to interacting with people. Then again -- - he wasn't thinking of the brother she was actually referring to. "Y... you have? I don't... I don't think we've met before." Not that he could recall, at least. "What, um... wh... what kinda news?"

"You're worse at lying than your brother. Have the drink, Ethan." She takes a seat beside him. "We should talk. I have had my eye on you for a few years. And I think it's about time we met face to face." She slides the scotch in front of him before taking a sip of her own. "I came to deliver some news. Personally. You should be honored. I don't just meet many people like yourself."

He almost hadn't believed it. Months without a single word, not a whisper from his other brother, not knowing where he was, what he was doing or if he was even alive. The sibling hadn't been blind, he'd known something was wrong, that Peter -- - Higgs -- - was straying from himself, and no matter how hard Ethan tried, he couldn't seem to help him.

Yet even with him standing before him, as happy as he was to know he was alive, that feeling of failure didn't dissipate.

Not that it stopped the werewolf from treading toward him, suddenly engulfing Higgs in his long and malnourished arms, pulling him into a tight embrace, half expecting to go right through him as though he wasn't there at all. "I... I feared the worst..." Ethan breathed, burying his face into his brother's shoulder as he gripped him tightly, afraid to let go. If he did, would Higgs disappear again?

He hadn't meant to slip, he'd been so close, so scared, felt like he was being swallowed whole by the beast within as it clawed its way to the surface. Ethan had tried to clamber away from her just in case he couldn't bring himself back, couldn't fend off the creature from surfacing. But she wouldn't leave, wouldn't abandon him, those warm arms wrapped around his frail and slender frame, reminding him she was there, he wasn't alone.

It worked. Allowing himself to revel in her presence as tears welled up in tired blue eyes, as they clamped shut, fingers clasping around her arm as though he was holding on for dear life. All the werewolf could do was cling to her, finally able to pry open his gaze and find Ophelia's face. "I... I'm sorry..." His voice whispered as teary eyes sparkled up at her. "That was too close, I... I almost..." He swallowed a breath, gulping at the mere thought of what could have happened if he hadn't been able to bring himself back. "I could've hurt you, Ophelia... or... or worse."

Btw I haven't abandoned my other blogs, it's just that time, tiredness and muse have been major factors. I've been super busy over the last few months between my submariner medical appeal, working and training in the corps, physical training, two future college courses and their medicals, I've been lacking for free time which makes me tired and eats into my muse. I've only really been able to focus on one muse at a time and I just go with whoever I'm feeling most on any given day. Again, I promise I haven't forgotten my other muses, I do intend to be active on them all again, I just need some time.
