that's actually EXACTLY what she ends up doing in my story!!! in his late 20s/early 30s, he becomes a conservationist working to eradicate invasive predators like rats, stoats, and possums. so she still gets to hunt and be all Wolf-ish!! but it's for a lovely cause [:
