The Bonzos, featuring future Python collaborator Neil Innes, had a minor hit with Innes’ “I’m The Urban Spaceman” in 1968. The song was produced by Paul McCartney. The band appeared in Magical Mystery Tour and appeared regularly on the BBC children’s program “Do Not Adjust Your Set”, which featured future Pythons Eric Idle, Michael Palin, Terry Jones & Terry Gilliam.
