Every time it was described that Jason thought Piper was beautiful even without makeup, it made me want to throw myself at the first large predatory animal I could find. I seriously could never perceive this as something romantic. Not even in my worst moment of destroyed self-esteem would I perceive these descriptions as a compliment.

Okay so Vesper and Tad are down bad for each other (or maybe it's just tad)

I personally find it so cute tho.

No bc I want them to kiss and just talk about their feelings.

Today in lore we found out Tad was a cop and I'ma say it. The twins have a type, I'm taking this from Connor their types are green cops. Which I find so funny bc their complimentary colors in their outfits are green (⁠ㆁ⁠ω⁠ㆁ⁠)

But. Kiss and get it over with. My gods, Aphrodite get these two make them kiss/silly

Anyways honestly I'ma say it Tad, Mi-go, and Vesper should get together but who am I to say it shrug

Leo is too good for Calypso. I'm not saying this from a fangirl perspective. How did Rick expect us to be cool with getting Leo and Calypso together the same book Calypso cursed Annabeth?

Valgrace is literally the better option. And Calypso clearly didn't even appreciate Leo when they did get together. In the 2nd TOA book, Calypso literally stabbed her thumbs into his kidneys? And she clearly doesn't understand how his mind works.

And the fact that Leo vented to APOLLO the god known for a HORRIBLE love life saying that he feels that maybe their relationship was doomed from the start and how he thinks it might be better when they're able to live a normal life, but he's not sure.

Calypso is constantly shown being barely anything but rude to Leo. I believe Calypso didn't love Leo, she loved the idea of Leo getting her off the island.

And don't even get me STARTED on the age gap. Calypso is 3000+, and Leo is SIXTEEN. Calypso may not have aged physically, but she's DEFINITELY aged mentally. I feel like it's not crazy to say Calypso is gr0oming Leo.

Leo and Jason DEFINITELY had feelings for eachother, whether romantic or not. When Lester told Jason Leo was alive, the sparks flew out of OUTLITS. Valgrace had the perfect set up to be endgame.

In HoH, when Nico gets outted by Cupid, it could've been the perfect opportunity for Jason to realize that his feelings for Leo might not just be platonic. He could've confided in Nico about it.

I still feel Leo could've gotten Calypso off the island, WITHOUT them getting in a relationship.

Jason could've realized his feelings for Leo, but never got the chance to tell him. And Leo, only realizing that Jason was more than just a friend to him until after Jason is already gone. It would've made Jason's death more impactful.

Valgrace is way better than Caleo and it's not even close.

we've GOTTA collectively start writing Will as freakier i'm sorry. he willingly chose to not only date a Hades kid but to date the CREEPIER Hades kid. the one he watched killed multiple people. the one who has a habit of stalking people. the one everyone is fully convinced is cursed and/or evil. Will CHOSE THAT LIFE. Will is INTO THAT.

if you're not writing Will as daydreaming about a Morticia & Gomez Addams romance where they flirt in the camp morgue and Nico is actively trying to sacrifice him to dark spirits while in actuality Nico the magic the gathering nerd is mildly concerned why Will is so enthusiastic about showing off his bones and specimens collection to Nico (not that he's grossed out, it's just weird for somebody who's not him to be doing that) then you are missing out!!!!! make Will weirder!!!!

I WANNA TALK ABOUT EVERN AND VESPER'S SIBLING DYNAMIC SO BAD.

Evern and Vesper being very different but very the same is so important to me. the two of them being SUPER over protective of each other matter so much in my heart,

Specifically, when Vesper and Evren's house got contained and covered in deep slate when Evern came rushing home made me SO happy.

ALSO Vesper threatening everyone who finds out about Evern being trans saying that if ANYONE finds out that they didn't tell saying she'd kill him was so so so important to me,

Evren in my eyes needs to get comfortable with the people on the planet before he tells people because that is HIS choice, and him needing to know that they won't betray him and use it as leverage, is such an amazing thing to do for a character like him,

especially since from what I've gathered he was experimented on, the growth that I know he's gonna go through is making me so happy!!

ANYWAYS BACK ON VESPER

Vesper saying that she will not date anyone who is trying to use her for their personal gain is so important to me, and I think that I'm gonna have to think about it for a while,

ALSO VESPER HAS TWO HANDS YALL JUST SHIP THEM ALL TOGETHER TAD AND MI-GO ARE HAVING A SPRING WEDDING ANYWAYS/j/silly

SO.

Don't get me wrong I love Hazel x Frank but I need to talk about their ages-

In the Son of Neptune book Hazel is 13, While frank is 16, and obviously that's not a bad age gap it's just three years! Right? WRONG. I feel like if he made Hazel older it would be fine like 15. BUT THIRTEEN!? Genuinely I just needed to rant about the age gap. But I don't hate the ship I just wish she was older- because I don't think anyone else talks about it.
