admittedly i haven't even picked up my laptop in like three days. i think i might need just a wee bit of time away. i might be on tonight. i might make a new muse, shit. i dunno. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

this is mostly just slightly emo word vomit. feel free to ignore.

i’m frustrated with this blog & roleplaying again. it took three months, which is actually longer than i would have expected. 

here’s the thing. i really!! want!!! to be here, and writing with peri. it’s a kind of release for me, it helps me get away from the kind of shit i’m dealing with in real life. 

my problem is, i try to reach out and see if anyone wants to do anything and i’m met with crickets. which i know is partially my own fault. i’m not around as often as most of the others on my dash are because of work and life and stuff. 

and it just sucks to want to be here but become so discouraged as soon as i log on. rationally, i know that part of why i feel like this is probably a depression flareup. but still. sucks. i’m emo. someone love me. etc. etc. etc.

i know i’ve been kinda flakey over the last few weeks. can u imagine a world in which i’m a fully functioning human being who isn’t hacking her lungs up every 30 seconds? simply can’t relate.

“Mm, fair enough. There’s a lot of paperwork with adoption - I’m sure they slipped that form into the stack fairly easily.” He shrugged, grinning easily. “I suppose it’s true what they say - Assuming makes an ass out of you and your dad. But that’s why I’m so important. I get all the right people to care.” Getting such an admission from her was slightly less like pulling teeth than with him, but not by too much, he was pretty sure. “In that case, I shall consider myself extra special from now on.” It was only just that he avoided making a face back at her. One of them had to retain some dignity, and apparently that was going to be him, this time. “I won’t argue that point. I’d be nowhere near here.”

Peri laughed, rolling her eyes. “Alright, well let’s not go too far. Thinking that you’re extra special is gonna give you much too big of a head, Seb.” He was such a pain in the ass, but he’d wormed his way into her heart. It was inconvenient, more than anything else. It would make it a lot harder to roll over on Jim & his web if the time ever came. She took a few more bites of her food before flipping the box shut, tossing her fork in the sink and walking over to the fridge to put it away. “Exactly, so shut up and eat your Indian food.”

       alex hummed, distracted as he thought back on their nights spent together. “ good for you, ” he purred. “ i wish everyone had your natural talents. normally i have to do all the work. ” that always left him in a bad mood, and god help anyone who hadn’t pleased him. sebastian didn’t like it when he killed people because of underwhelming sex, though, so lately he’d just refrained. until peri. “ i’m a very generous person, doll face. didn’t you know? ” he pouted at her words. “ i am not being dramatic! ” grabbing her bleeding finger, he lifted it to his lips, tongue licking over the red stripe. “ you got me in the shoulder. so close but oh so far. ” 

            “ yeah, it must be nice to have someone else do all the work for once, ” she muttered with a low chuckle, turning her head so she could face him. she clearly still wasn’t in a good position to be giving him shit, but her mouth just kept going. “ oh you are so, ” she grinned, watching him lap at her wound. “ no, not close enough, ” she hummed. “ i definitely need to work on my aim. i’d ask you to help, but i’ve probably killed any chance at that, huh? ” she wasn’t telling him where to hurt her for a reason. she knew that he’d go wherever he wanted to anyway.

        ❛❛ Please, Miss Adler, I’m nothing if not dramatic, ❜❜ she chuckles.  ❛❛ You’re right, though. Then of course there’s dealing with the mess, the getting rid of the evidence. More trouble than it’s worth. ❜❜ Peri manages to keep a straight face for just a moment before breaking into a laugh.
