welcome to faker fest 2025, a fic and art fest dedicated to lee sanghyeok (faker)!

how it works - all writers and artists are welcome to join and you'll have around two months to complete a faker-centric fic or artwork - your work can be romantic or platonic but must primarily feature faker. you can create the work using your own ideas, or base your work on the list of prompts for this fest - works will be revealed anonymously starting from may 2, 2025 - on may 7, the works will be de-anoned and creators will be revealed - the fest will mainly be run on ao3 and info/updates/admin will be posted on this tumblr

schedule - sign-up period: feb 3 to 28, 2025 - creator deadline: may 1, 2025 - reveal period: may 2 to 7, 2025 *all deadlines are at 11:59 pm (or 23:59) in korea standard time (kst)

fic requirements - at least 1500 words long, there is no word maximum - all ratings from general to explicit are accepted - must be complete by the deadline (wips are not allowed) - must be posted on ao3 to the fest collection and tagged appropriately

art requirements - can be digital or traditional but must be created from scratch (traced, edited, AI-generated etc. works are not accepted) - all ratings from general to explicit are accepted - must be a completed work in your usual style (i.e. rough sketches would generally not be considered complete) - you can post your work on ao3 or a platform of choice. if you choose to post outside of ao3, please ensure that your work remains anonymous during the fest period

bonus! - participants who complete at least 1 work will have the option of entering a random draw for a set of fan-made (NOT official!) photocards - there will be three (3) winners and the winners will be asked to share their mailing address with the mod so that the photocards can be mailed to them - details about the photocards will be announced later!

it looks like deft and peyz followed each other on ig, i'm posting this because the timing of this follow is kinda wholesome, it's very likely that deft has messaged peyz about his situation with the transfer to the lpl and chatted with him since he knows a thing or two about moving to china, after all he did move from ssg to edg 10 years ago at the same age as peyz is right now, which means peyz is just experiencing the samsung adc canon event of being sent to a "-dg" chinese team because of budget reasons LOL, it's cool that they had a chance to talk before hyukkyu leaves for the military

as both a huge deft and jdg fan i wish peyz nothing but good experiences in the region and i hope he enjoys his stay in the team, fighting!!

Hihi! I'm opening chibi art commissions starting December 1, 2024! This year, I realized I spent quite a lot making freebies and hosting giveaways so I thought I'd maybe try  turning this into a self-sustaining hobby for the coming year ^^;;;

As you can maybe tell from my existing art, my comfort zone is definitely LCK and LPL pros but if you have reference photos of a pro you'd like me to draw, I'd be down to try! Basically chibi-fying a standard reference photo of a player you provide (no additional changes or elements), similar to the Twitter requests I've been taking!

Same as Chemtech, PLUS you will receive one (1) personalized goodie using the commission art (sent to you for free!)

The goodie can be: acrylic keychain/charm, acrylic standee, metal badge, fridge magnet etc. (approximately 5 to 7 cm). We can definitely work together to find something you like!

Goodie will be shipped directly from my manu located in China, depending on which player or team you're a fan of, I may be able to throw in some other freebies too!

Can request things like pose, complex outfits or elements (e.g. champion skins, champion weapons)

Full color, clean lineart, themed background

File size: up to 2000 x 2000 px

Option to add $15 for one (1) additional character on the same canvas

Can be used for the mass production of merchandise but if your commission is for an active LCK player (especially T1 players), you must obtain permission from the team on your own and CC me in the request

For all of the commission tiers offered, please note:

I reserve the right to refuse drawing certain players

I also reserve the right to refuse drawing anything that can be viewed as offensive

Turnaround time is approximately 2-3 weeks (hopefully before this year is over)

After the final piece is completed, requests for small changes are offered for free. If a drastic change is needed, we can work out the pricing for any additional time spent

Payment can be made via PayPal, credit/debit card (via Stripe), E-transfer (CAD) or Wise transfer (USD or EUR)
